Very nice colour. I think it's safe to either wait a few months for it to go down or use some credit from there bonus offers.
 
Almost all walmart B&M has the ceramic white controller by now. I bought a silver one from walmart.com for $36 after BCB and exchanged for the white one in store. $36 for a ceramic white controller isn't too bad.

i don't know about the white ones, but the red one has one little cosmetic thing i don't like. The red controller's LED light sort of shine through the red plastic, quite ugly looking when you're playing game. Apparently the outer plastic is not thick enough to shield the LED light. The black controllers are fine, since the color black blocks out the light... I don't know about the white ones, but it does sound like the LED light is going to bleed out like the red one :lol:

I know it is odd but the White DS3 is one of the coolest controllers i have had the pleasure to play with. It just looks so nice whenver i look down... It looks better in person then even the pictures show, it's expensive but it is worth it.
 
I imported mine when the DS3 was released in Japan (my dog ate my SIXAXIS and I needed a new controller). It's a really nice looking controller. If you've ever seen the ceramic white PS2, it's the same color as that. (I have a ceramic white PS2 as well)

...I can honestly say that I'm shocked that it's taken Amazon this long to get in these controllers. I'v'e been seeing these @ Walmart for months it seems. (Give it a couple of weeks and it will hit $45 on Amazon)
 
I just don't understand the obcession with this, when you can buy a Black or even other colors for 10 dollars or more less. Plus most of you have enough controllers for ever. This just amazes, its like your more intrested in the controller color than playing games. I guess Sony and Nintendo know something I don't with constant color changes for their systems and controls. I never buy more than I need because of a color I find it silly. But enjoy yourselfs.

I hear ya. I debated for 15 minutes whether to save $10 and get another black one but I decided if I was spending that much money I would go balls-out.
 
Man this thing looks sweet. But the question is, do I need a third controller when most games are multiplayer online only... wish there were a bit more games that were more than 2 players on a single console.

Not as cool as the gunmetal DS3 :) but yeah, it's on my "want" list. i'll wait till it hits $45 mark... i'm missing white/blue/silver in my collection. i probably skip the blue though.
 
i preordered one from estarland.

STILL waiting to get it. they've been "trying to keep up with their orders".
I always thought the point of a preorder was to guarantee the item. on that note, they're giving me the same issue with my preorder of heavy rain
