Dantes inferno 36$ new on the EA website !!

I'm currently playing it on 360 and really, really liking this game. With that said, if I were only a PS3 owner, I'd wait for God of War 3 next week and get Dante's Inferno when the price drops to the sub $30 level.

This game is easily beaten...1 to 2 days if you stick to it. A good rental before GOW 3 drops, worthy of a purchase but the replay value isnt all that great until they drop that co-op trials of st. lucia DLC.

Not a horrible game, but doesn't really do anything new. The camera isn't the greatest for a game that requires some platforming, and it gets really boring at around the half way point. Worth about $25.00.

PS3 is the way to go with this game because of the free Divine Edition upgrade. It is a pretty good game. I am about halfway through it. It doesn't strike me as a God of War game does, but it is definitely solid.

OP, you should really put some effort into this thread. Just a little looking around on the EA store site let me know that they are having some kind of sale, and that some really good games have really good prices. Don't just make a thread for a single game if there's much more on sale. For example, this is what I saw:

Title: - 360 price/PS3 price

Dante's Inferno: - 49.99/36.99
Dragon Age: - 45.99/54.99
Mass Effect 2: - 48.00
Tiger Woods PGA 10: - 56.99/56.99
Need for Speed: Shift: - 46.99/56.99

See? That's an informative post, and will probably help people out. Just put some goddamn effort in!

Or you could just start a new thread instead.

Welp. I probably would not have bitten at $37, but I had a 25% off coupon code they sent on my birthday that was going to expire soon. Final cost came out to

I tried it out...unfortunately, I did so after playing Bayonetta.

Dante's Inferno can't touch Bayonetta at all...and with God of War coming out...it's completely obsolete.

Why, when this one could so easily be modified? Then there would just be a useless thread for one game in a much bigger sale that there is a thread for.

Because you're thread crapping and shitting on his/her effort. You don't like how he/she did, then do it yourself.

Of course I'm shitting on their effort. That was the whole point of the original post. However, I guess you are right in a way. Thank you OP for posting this deal! I would just like to see a bit more effort on posters' parts, and then we can avoid this useless clutter in the deals thread. I'm sorry if I offended anyone. I'm not going to make another thread for the whole sale, as I still feel it would be stupid, so the post I made earlier about the sale is the only information on it unless the OP decides to add the info.

I know this is a decent game, but I'll wait until it drops further. This will going to be a $20-$25 game for me.
Game is ten times better than God of War.
Love CAG for these sort of comments. Nothing to back it up. No link to reviews or facts about the game. Just good old personal opinions.:)

No, it is not, 'cause I said so!

Cool. I respect your opinion, and can see where you're coming from. Glad you enjoy that game. Game on, "bro"! :)

My cousin's cat's uncle's sister's fifth-cousin said it was better...and it's right because it's furrier than you!

Hmm... I *do* have a $15 code for EA... but I think I'd rather use it on the $20 Red Alert 3 expansion...

Where'd you guys get the $15 code from?

I remember there being some sort of Trade-In thing or Survey site you could use not too long ago to get a coupon for the EA Store, but I can't for the life of me find the topic on CAG

if i remember correctly from reading something i think you have to register 1 of their games then you get it or something

Thanks OP... I had a $10 coupon for a survey I took a couple of weeks back and I thought i was going to lose it because there wasn't something i was interested enough to buy. (Or at least cheap enough in the EA website to consider it a deal)

On top of that I had a $12 balance in my paypal account for selling Assasins Creed 1 through our CAG Marketplace... Ended up paying $17.32 for the game.. Nice deal!
i wonder if thi is still divine edition?
That's what it is... That's what my order says, I would not think it would be any different.

It's a rental. There's really no point in playing it more than once and the dumbass "mash this button to refill your health or magic" got REAL old. They give you the stupid power up to automatically break the refills too late in the game to matter.

It was more annoying than fun.

I guess $36 is a good price for something so new and straight from the publisher too, but it still aint worth it! Man, I only played the demo, but everything I did just shouted GOD OF WAR RIPOFF!

And it's weird, because of course there have been countless hack and slash games before (well, GOW has the formula of a fighting scene followed by a puzzle scene, which is pretty unique... a true action/adventure), but it's very clear when someone is completely ripping off GOW. Everything about it is the same, right down to the button combos doing the same moves! I wasn't expecting a masterpiece, but I sure as hell wasn't expecting a blatant ripoff either!

Just a heads up - if you use the coupon code M93SW4PQQ2 when you check out, it knocks off $5.00 and gives you free shipping ($6.99).

Total (Shipped + Tax): $34.23

I grabbed a copy. I figure since the only GOW type game I've ever played was GOW1 I'll enjoy this much more than someone who has already experienced 2 & 3 and Bayonetta. If I don't like it I can always flip it on Goozex for 1000 points and get something better.
how much will the dlc be?

is it included in the divine edition?
The Divine Edition (which is just the PS3 version of the game. It's not a limited edition or anything; if you have the game on PS3, then you have the Divine Edition) includes a free download of the Dark Forest DLC, but not the Trials of St Lucia DLC. I don't think they've announced pricing on that yet.
not a bad game at all, but i say it's 20-25 dollar game, tops.

thank god for gamefly
I would say more like a $15 game. The only thing that kept me playing it after my first play through, which was less than 6 hours, was the fact that I had to max out my unholy path. Those 6 hours were also spent picking up every item in the game. I'm running through it again right now for my unholy max out and I'm doing it twice as fast. I can easily run through this game in 5, maybe even 4 hours.
