GameStop Deadly Premonition Used In Stock- 17.99

I'm sure this game will catch a lot of hate but I just beat it yesterday and WOW. The story is absolutely amazing. Despite some questionable sections in the game you will continue coming back to this game just to find out who the killer is. Plenty of twists as well I actually enjoyed the game quite a bit more than Heavy Rain and the story is better as well. One thing I must ask is don't buy this game used help the developers out and buy new. These guys deserve all of your $20 and I want them to remain in business so that we may one day see a sequel or something else as ambitious but more polished.
 
this game was really amazing bought it day 1 and really loved it. so many people will hate this who will never try it but damn it had a good story.
 
this is my favorite game of the year! right behind Mass effect 2......if you can get past the mediocre graphics then you will enjoy this game.....good story, awesome characters, hilarious dialogue and lets not forget the super cool whistle song lol

great game worth the full price (20 dollars) purchase just to support the developers

Bought it brand new and never regretted it. One being it's awesome and the other being that it was only $20 lol. Still an awesome budget game, though. It really captures the feeling of a great B-grade movie. Sorta' like if essence of Shoot 'Em Up was made into a game. They don't have the same tone, but both are their best at their worst. :)
 
I say spend the 2 extra bucks and support the people who put out the game. I'm kind of amazed we got to begin with, and the fact that it's actually decent and interesting made it one hell of a 20 dollar game. I'd like to see more games like this (really cheap at launch, but still good with some flaws) available.

I find it funny that the few people who claim it's amazing, good, or not-as-bad-as-you-think haven't actually played it according to their profile.

yep because everyone updates their what i'm playing now status on a regular basis.
 
I bought this game soon after it came out, but still havn't gotten around to playing it (damn you backlog!). This is one of the few games I wish people wouldn't buy used though. The extra $2 is more than worth it to support developers that take risks and release (apparently) decent budget games.
 
ugh, fine I will go get this game. The 11 games I got Fri/Sat from GS Game Day Sale didn't quite satisfy me and still have $48 in credit left. Hope its as good as ya'll say!!
 
If this is still in stock when I get paid on Friday I will snag it for sure along with anything else good going on for the Gameday sale.

Seriously. I bought this new for a couple bucks more through Amazon. Well worth supporting the developers AND Amazon directly. Maybe I'll actually start on it today...

Even with CAG16 the tax and shipping brings the total to $19.57, one cent less than Amazon.
 
This game is the best game of 2010

Feel free to "check my profile" - Finished this masterpiece on Hard, went back and got all the trading cards. Going to 1000 this gem.

Who cares where and how you buy it. I got my copy from GameFly, I played it for 10 minutes and immediately clicked "Keep It"
 
If I go buy this, it isn't going to turn out like Earth Defense force is it? Cause I know some CAG's love that and I couldn't even finish the game I hated it that much

Lol EDF was an amazing game! Don't be hatin'! I played through the whole thing with a friend tho, which may have helped.

I bought Premonition day 1 and put about 10 hours into it and got bored. The story is the best part of it, but I couldn't stand the fact that there are only like 2 enemy types. The shooting scenes got soooo repetitive. I read on forums in some places that a lot of people just ran through the gun scenes to get to the quicktime events with the killer. I guess i should've done that instead of trading it in. Oh well. Maybe I'll get it again on Goozex someday...
 
Hey Zach, remember that video game Deadly Premonition?
A hybrid survival horror open world exploration game that came out in early 2010. Really unique for it's time, wasn't it Zach?
One of the best games we played that year.
