Along came a spider is one of those 80 points indie games - there are many out there and most of them are b******t. Since they don´t get covered much on the big sites, i´d like to show you some really nice games you should try out (it´s free anyway). If you know some too, please join in - there are over 1000 games now and i know i must miss a lot of them. :D
And it supports the small indie developers - the better really are worth it.

Along came a spider

You take on the role of a spider trying to catch three flies in each level. And since you are a spider, gravity has less of an hold over you. This means you can stick to walls or walk under the given path.

Every 4 levels there will be a boss and once you defeated it you get a new skill - like being able to use a silk string to keep from falling or to swing to places you otherwise wouldn´t have been able to get to, which is the first upgrade you get.

This is realized using some nice physics - something that i haven´t seen in a jump´n run before. Since the controls work very well, this is quite cool.

The graphics are simple, but quite stylish - little done very well. And the soundtrack is great - i really enjoyed it. Most of all it´s the clever level design and often the little tricks you need to apply to get the flies that kept me glued to my pad with this game.

It´s only a couple of hours long, but for 80 points it really is a steal!
