RosenQueen has moved back to NISA with their new store now. The store is more functional than the RQ POS.

http://store.nisamerica.com/

They have Disgaea 3 set for $19.99 plus ridiculously high priority mail shipping.

Alma Mater Set Includes:
- Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice
- Original Disgaea 3 soundtrack
- Custom soundtrack

Practically this will be around $30 shipped, about the same price shipped from amazon but you get the two soundtracks free.

They also have added some older PS2 RPGs to their store. Of course, shipping is extra.

:ps2: Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana $29.99
:ps2: Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny $29.99
:ps2: Atelier Iris 3: Grand Phantasm $29.99
:ps2: GrimGrimoire $29.99

Hopefully, they put their act together and ship orders faster. RQ ruined their reputation in their last Thanksgiving sale.

So far there's one thing I don't like about the new store, on RQ I was able to add 9999 of an item to see how many they had left. I was checking the Trinity Universe set recently as I was worried they would sell out before I got the money for it. Luckily they didn't, but last time I checked they had around 120 of them. On the new store I can add 10,000 of them to my cart with no problem. Really doubt they have that many.

Bear in mind that is for the Used price and without the added soundtracks. For some people that is well worth the $18.
They must be using new age packing boxes to cost that much in shipping
no they just don't absorb the cost of shipping into the price of the game like a lot of online retailers do.

In case you want to know, I think the 2 soundtracks are in jewel cases with printed artwork (at least they were at the launch of Disgaea 3).

Holy Shit, their shipping is really expensive! I try adding Trinty Universe collection and they charge $15 on shipping. A little less with additional items, but not as much as you think. I'm not paying a $10 premium on collector's on top of high shipping cost. I rather purchase that game at Gamestop or Amazon.

I was about to order Trinity Universe as well, but the cheapest shipping option is $12.35. WTH is up with that? That alone is keeping them from getting my money.

Received Prinny Bomb #64 newsletter in email. Highlights about the new store:

Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice - $49.99
Disgaea DS - $29.99
Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure - $29.99
Atelier Annie: Alchemists of Sera Island - $29.99

all down to just $19.99 (each).

• New business practices aimed to protect our customers. We will no longer be charging our customers until their order has shipped from our warehouse. This even applies to preorders! The only exception will be Giclees, whose limited quantities and “on demand manufacturing” will require us to charge in advance.
• Customers will still receive 5 reward points for every dollar they spend on the new online store. Once a customer’s point total has exceeded 500, they will automatically be e-mailed a $5 gift certificate for future purchases!

I don't understand how they can charge that much. At most it should be $5-6 to ship, not $15. I was excited to see that the NISA Store was replacing RQ, but the shipping kills it. No way I buy anything from then with the shipping being that high.

That's online price only, and its practically never in stock, nor can it be guaranteed to come with anything besides the game disc. It's still $26.99 in stores. I've been keeping an eye on it for awhile, but it just doesn't seem it will change anytime soon in store.

Now that we get that out of the way, the deal is really not so great since the shipping really kills it quite badly. Not the deal I was hoping for, but stuff from the NIS site was always overpriced anyways, and only times I would buy something would be for the limited edition/exclusive stuff.

NISA doesn't do enough volume to get special rates on shipping. When they shipped my Sakura Wars set they shipped USPS with a flat rate shipping box (postage was $10.70).
