Thanks for this post, I wouldn't have known otherwise. Since theres no telling when a game will be suddenly promo'd, I don't frequent the amazon sticky so this was fresh and helpful news to me. Woohoo METROID :O
 
I re-opened this thread as its a pretty significant deal and deserves its own spot outside of the sticky.
 
I ended up preordering...couldn't resist :whistle2:D Let's hope it drops down a few more bucks anyway. I'm thinking $46ish at least doesn't sound too unreasonable :whistle2:D
 
Thanks! I just ordered now. The $20 credit on Mario Galaxy 2 didn't last up until release date, so I would jump on this if you are considering it.
 
Man, if this had the preorder bonus that GS is offering for Other M I'd be all over it. As of now, I'll be waiting. Soooo tempting though.
 
yeah looks like Amazon matched Walmart. Was going to wait on this one, but the $20 credit makes this a definite preorder, though it would be nice if Gamestop matched this too.
 
Wow! I've been holding off on preordering this for this very reason. $30 is the sweet spot on this game and unless Gamestop matches this (and I can use one of my $10 credits there) this will be another fine Amazon purchase. :D
 
Thanks op. I probably would have noticed this eventually, but today it just happened to be in my gold box so that's perfect. Too good to pass up.
 
I think I'll have to go with Walmart on this one. They're saying I'll get it on release day for a cheaper price than Amazon's standard shipping.
 
Amazon is acting really weird for me and I haven't checked the link. Goldbox deals are just showing up as a basically blank page and I'm having trouble seeing my saved items in my cart. When I click the cart button, Amazon either signs me out or says my cart is empty. Really hope my saved items aren't gone, I have about 90 items saved up.
 
Hopefully GS will match, I already put my $5 down with them since that art folio is pretty tempting.

That's basically true but what I did was play dumb and emailed CS and asked if they could apply one of my $10 coupons to an existing order (an order which I had already used the 25OFF coupon) and they did it no problem.

And yeah, Amazon is definitely messed up at the moment.

Went ahead and preordered mine just now. Don't want to run the risk that they knock the credit down to $10 like they've done on pervious preorders. $30 for a first week Nintendo release is a great deal!
