Good deals on an iTouch? (With a giftcard or something extra) or just cheap?

Just had mine stolen tonight. I'm pretty pissed. I'm not really jumping on spending another $200-$250 on one, but, it's definitely an essential piece of my life.

So, does anyone know of anything going on, or a place that every so often has deals that come with gift cards that I should wait for?

You should try waiting til Black Friday. I got mines during that time like 2 years ago and they came with one of those charging docks. I think Target gives a gift card with one every year.
 
Thanks a lot for the September and Black Friday advice.. I'll see how long I can go without it. I'll just have to bring out ye olde Stereo, instead of my speakers that plug into my ipod.
 
... or if you have a local apple store they will reduce the price of the last gen ones right before the new gen comes out. Keep an eye out for that.
 
Yeah you would be an idiot to drop money on one now, the new ones are only a few weeks away and the rumors are looking like its going to be a huge upgrade at this point. If you only have so much to spend on a touch its best to wait. Also if you wait the prices on the current models will drop, if you want to buy one of those after seeing what the difference is between old and new.

Apple most likely won't increase the price of the touch so by waiting you will either get a reduced price touch, or get a new one with more features for the same price.
