Tony Hawk Ride w/ Board $26.99 at Best Buy Outlet

anyone know if tony hawk shared uses the same board as this one or if shared has a newer version of skate board controller???

it's the same hardware. there are a few different designs though.

Tony Hawk SHRED, and yeah it uses the same type of controller. Be warned though... Ride was bad, but Shred has what I'd imagine is the gaming equivalent of a cold opening: I can't really find any reviews from any major sites/mags, and the reviews that are on metacritic are mediocre to bad.
 
I first read the title as "Tony Hawk Ride w/Beard", which was almost enough to make me want to buy it. I mean, who doesn't want to see Tony Hawk rock a 900 looking like Rubeus Hagrid?

i only played the demo i think, and got bored of it as i do with most single player repetitive type games.

Yeah... I played the hell and own every Tony Hawk console game from the first up to Proving Ground. The only way I'd get Ride or Shred is if Tony Hawk showed up at my house and gave me a free copy.
 
I'm in $20. Now that NEVERSOFT has stopped making Guitar Hero games (HURRAY! -- Even though another company will be doing it now instead...), hopefully they will go back to the Tony Hawk series, and release a really polished effort, like THPS 3, 4, THUG were.

Proving Ground, while good (and extremely challenging) had a lot of B-team members, a few of the A-team members had moved onto Guitar Hero 3 I'm guessing.
 
lol yeah I would only really buy it for $10 and even then why? With Kinect out Im sure a much better and more responsive skateboarding game will be out soon
