Hi
I can't sell the headset but I refuse to use it until I can figure out if it's possible to output sound to both the TV AND the headset. It's really awkward for me to only have it output to the headphones.
Is this possible? My TV also hasred and white audio output plugs
thanks

According to something from Turtle Beach: "The PS3 sends audio to both HDMI and its A/V output simultaneously when you activate the "Audio Multiple Output" in the Sound Settings menu."

If I were on my console right now I could check it out, but I'd imagine that you have to have your audio run through two separate connections at once. This could be a combination of optical out, hdmi, component, or composite cables.

Yeah, I do this with my X41's. It's hooked up to the TV through HDMI and through the headphones receiver through the digital output.

Go to Sound Settings in the Settings tab and turn Audio Multiple Output to On.

Thanks everyone! that got it working!
I'd tried that before but I forgot I had the headphones on so to me it sounded like it was just doubling the hdmi sound :x
