Got lucky and picked up this lil guy here for 1.99 today. I've heard of the Anime/Manga before. It's called Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles and occurs in the same universe as XXXholic, Cardcaptors and whatnot. Did a search for this specific one, and came up too many results. Looks like there's tons of different DVD sets and singles for this anime x.x

If anybody knows what specific one this is from, or knows how to find out, I'd appreciate the help. Dunno if this would sell standalone, but it's the casing is pretty nice. So I can see them selling the "Volume 1" separately.

Oh yeah, these damn marker stains have to go.

Use a dry erase marker over top of the permanent marker. You might have to color over it pretty good. The dry erase ink dissolves permanent marker ink and then you can just wipe it clean with a paper towel.

The Katakana reads: "Tsubasa Chronicle." Not really anything more to go on than that, I'm afraid. If you take a clearer pic of the back, I might be able to translate some more words.

Thanks for the dry eraser tip. I'll look for a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser when I stop by a grocery store later today, if no luck, I'll go with that.

Yeah, that's the series. I can take a few nicer photos when I get home later this evening if you think it'll help to identity it.

This works!
I found a TI 83 + calculator this Sat. and it had permanent ink on the outside.. I tried non-acetone nail polish remover which partially worked but left a "haze"... and the siver perma color still rather present...
googled..."how to remove permanent ink from plastic"
and found the dry erase marker method... not only worked perfectly, but removed the haze!
happy camper!

I think he's trying to figure out specifically which complete set he has a fragment of.

Yeah, having a low quality camera phone isn't helping out here. I'll see if I can just put the thing in a scanner and upload a photo that way. Anyways, thanks again folks.

My guess is that it's a bootleg from HK.

From the image, it's obviously a Chinese release, but the translation does not match official Chinese releases.
