You may want to wait or find out if your router/ modem will be able to handle IPV6. Right now everyone for the most part is accessing using IPV4 because we've run out of IPV4 level addresses the world is switching to IPV6, but it is being rolled out slowly probably over a period of a couple to a few years. Otherwise those currently running IPV4 should be able to run IPV6 wit a firmware update.

Great Wireless N router (also does A/B/G ) that can be purchased very cheaply on eBay. (like $30-35 for a refurb)
