I was looking for a pair of wireless headsets to use with my Turtle Beach DSS. I have an X11 now, which makes it a DX11 when paired with the DSS. But the wires are too much.

Now you might wonder why not just get the x41? well I've read many complaints about static and crackling noises with the wireless turtle beach headsets which is why I have never considered any Turtle Beach wireless headsets in the first place. There are also people who get them to work without any problems, but I dont want to take the risk.

PLUS this headset is rechargeable too :D

However, if you want to turn this into surround sound through the DSS, make sure to get an adapter 3.5mm to RCA (something like that, im not too bright about audio tech; Squall explained it to me)

Anyone own this headset, I'm thinking about this or the new Sony wireless headset coming out this fall, which offers simulated surround sound.

O.O how much is that new headset? And the reviews for this one are mostly positive. Buts its just stereo without surround sound, which is why I'm going to connect it to my DSS.

And does it have a mic?

$100, and yeah it has a mic, I know for a fact Amazon.com will sell it for 90 something, they always knock off a couple of dollars on most items.

Ahhh so enticing!!! Grr! But it seems like its for PS3 only (sony duh stupid me lol). I already ordered this one though, and going to pick it up later in the evening.

The reviews have are mostly good compared to the turtle beach headsets so, I guess its not a bad investment. Ill reply back on how the headset performs when I install it later today

awesome! looking forward to your thoughts, if it's good I'll buy it.

Got this headset as a birthday present , it works surprisingly well. It works on both the 360 and the ps3. The headset is wireless, but to use the Mic for 360/ps3 you have to plug it into the controller using the cables provided.

:D:D:D:D:D:D

got it to work with my DSS!!!

i only played 30 mins of bad company 2 multiplayer, but so far its just as good as if i were using my X11 with my DSS. no static, no crackling, no loss of sound quality, and I was able to hear gunshots and explosions from all directions.

this shits so sexy. now i can game with a wireless controller AND headset at the same time.
