I know, I know, it's a Minecraft knockoff, but at least it's a good one. And for those of us who aren't into PC gaming, like myself, it's nice to have an option. And at 240MSP, it's easy on the wallet.

As of right now, it feels a bit limited. There is no actual online play, just a "Share" mode. But that is going to be fixed in a coming update, according to the official forums. The update is also going to add more functional blocks, amongst other goodies.

I have been addicted to this game since I downloaded it a few days ago.

Is anyone else playing?

And if anyone wants to add more info about the game itself, I will leave it wiki-editable. I'm just feeling too lazy tonight.

I saw this the other day and tried it out. Having bought Fortresscraft (and starting to grow impatient with it), I was surprised to see this game have creatures that attack you and the different food/clothing options like Minecraft right out of the gate.

However, I feel it suffers in terms of graphics and gameplay. Fortresscraft definitely looks more polished with the use of avatars and allowing you to play online. And the blocks seem better in Fortresscraft as well. Honestly, if they'd combine the two games, we'd have a pretty complete Minecraft experience. But since the real thing is coming to 360 relatively soon, I'm not even sure how much it matters.

Just thought I'd bump this back up, with the recent v1.5 update, with the biggest change being online multiplayer. There have also been some other tweaks and updates.

could someone tell me how exactly the game works. The prints too small on my tv to read the instructions well lol and I've never played minecraft. I had a few extra points so I wouldn't mind picking either one up and seeing what the fuss is all about.
