I was never really a fan of the show until I watched an episode on Netflix a few weeks ago. I'm hooked now and I'm currently watching the seventh season every Monday on Showtime. The season started off pretty slow, but I like where things are going now.

I haven't seen tonight's episode, but this season so far has been AWFUL. The writing is horrendous, and the actors look like they're bored as shit.

^ the show has definitely taken some odd turns, but I actually think this season is funny just how bizarro it has become.

Still a fun show, just not the same quality as the early seasons. and the tone is totally different.

Alright good to know I wasn't the only one to think this season was pretty meh so far. I heard it could be it's last.

I loved the first 3 seasons or so, but the show has went down hill since they burnt down Agrestic.

Haven't watched any of this season as I don't get Showtime and just wait to Netflix the Blu-rays.

How is that show? I picked up the first two seasons on BD as a blind buy since they were only $10 each at Best Buy a few weeks ago.

That was my opinion too. I haven't seen season 6 or any part of 7.
Breaking Bad is the best show on television, Weeds isn't in the same discussion.
What's funny is that this is a weeds discussion, so... breaking bad is the one not in the discussion.

Not to be too contentious but this is pure horseshit. Nobody starts slow for any reason. You don't want to risk losing your audience. Weeds is getting long in the tooth. It's not like it's a hot shot 2nd or 3rd year show that is trying to do something great with a slow burn. It needs to keep their fans happy. I'm a big fan and even I'm getting restless with this season.

And this isn't like a situation where "we need to introduce lots and lots of characters" a la Game of Thrones.

It picked up a little bit with season 5 and even 6. And I am hoping it does the same this season.

Finally saw Elizabeth Perkins naked - greatest show ever, major crush on her since Big came out.

In general it's good when it's really goofy. The more serious they try to be the worse the show becomes.

I can't remember if I left off at season 4 or 5 (whatever the last streaming one was on NFLX) but I was hoping that Alannis Morisette would stick around.
After the season 4 everything gets shitty so not anymore, everything before it is good
Yeah, I loved the show through 4th season then continued into 5th season thinking what the fuck. When Shane murdered Pilar I was out. Shit just got too fucking bizarre at that point.

Yeah, that's it in a nut shell. The first 3 or 4 seasons where funny as hell, and that was the strength of the show.

From season 5 on it's moved more toward being a drama and it's not succeeded at that IMO, and doesn't have nearly as many laughs as the earlier seasons.

Can't beat a drive by with a prius.

The whole fun of the show was that Nancy was always in danger of going to jail. But she was never gonna actually go.

So this season with the whole she was in jail for three years, got really trashy with her prison tats, and can't keep clean business is just against the whole grain of the show.

well, someone asked if Breaking Bad was good, and I said, it's the best show on TV. sorry.

yeah but she was gross at that point and they had her boobs look terrible on purpose.

You shoul;d be championing seeing Mary Louise Parker naked. Woman is like a fine wine.

and the younger people who have all gotten naked on this show are smoking hot.

Remember that hot Jewish girl?

I'm in Season 5 of apparently 8.

This has become one of my favorite TV series. Up at the top with Breaking Bad, Battlestar Galactica, and Angel.

"Please don't tell anyone I'm a nurse."

IMO, it's sadly all downhill from there. The entire series is enjoyable, but you've already seen the best, Chase. The first three seasons are nearly TV perfection. I'm hoping they end it strongly with the rest of season 8.

I actually did enjoy Season 6. At first, I was like "Ehhhh," but after those episodes, I was like "Yeeeeaaah booooy." ;)

And this song gave the Season 6 finale quite a James Bond feeling. Gonna enjoy revisiting these last few episodes with the girlfriend.
still watch it, but it def aint as good as it was. season 8 seems to enjoyable so far.
This seems to be the case with Season 7. I had nothing but love for Seasons 1 to 6, but 7 has been pretty mediocre.

Heading into the Season 7 finale. If I were Blanca, I would have
shot Michelle Trachtenberg's character "Emma" right square in the face. Or, at very least, put a few nails in her leg with Andy's nail gun. Maybe slap the shit out of her to prove a point. 'Twas a poor business decision to let her live—especially when she knew their location and identities.

Dunno what happens in the finale or in Season 8, but I would have given serious thought to putting a bullet into the head of Silas. The way things seem to be heading, she might actually do that if he fucks with her custody over Stevie.

Loved it in the beginning and then it got whack with esteban. Recently saw season 6 and I'm hooked again. Can't wait to watch season 7 and 8 now.

You bought a Prius?
I bought seven of them. I’ve got my whole crew driving em, real quiet. Good for sneaking up on MOTHERfuckERS!!
