Need a cheap game recomendation! [ PS3 exclusive ]

So I snagged a $10 off used coupon with my gamestop points only to realize it didn't stack with the trade-in promo that I used.

It expires at the end of september so I'm looking for a good cheap ps3 exclusive that I can get for $10-$20.
I have a huge backlog so I don't want to spend much.

I recently purchased my PS3 so I currently only have Uncharted 2, MGS4, and Modern Warfare 2.
So I could go for something that's not in the shooter genre.
Maybe a good rpg? Worst case I can always grab a cheap DS game. :)
 
Demon Souls interests me a lot, but I hear it has no pause and that you can be on a level for hours.

Living with fiancee and having a dog I worry I might run into issues with that.
 
I've heard many people recommend Valkyria Chronicles for the PS3. I haven't tried it myself, but it seems like a pretty well-received game.

There is no pause because of the integration between single- and multi-player modes, and the levels are pretty epic (especially when you don't know what you're doing yet). You can quit whenever you want, though, and the game auto-saves your progress. It's kind of like those portable games that'll let you "save and quit" at any time and then just remove that save once you load it.
 
They were going to take DS servers down, but due to outcry they have kept them up. You can still play single player even if they are down. I had similar concerns with DS. I played at night or when she wasn't home. Most levels can actually be finished very quickly (5-10mins) once you know them or if you are co-oping them.

The R&C games are likely cheap too, and a little 'lighter' than the shooters and RPG's.
 
If you want a good RPG and are flexible, I'd strongly recommend Valkyria Chronicles. It's a Strategy RPG so it's not like a traditional RPG but it's not all that complicated to understand and it's a lot of fun.
 
Uncharted 1 - Will help you appreciate the story in UC2 some more.
3D Dot Game Heroes - similar in playstyle to Legend of Zelda 1, Link's awakening, or A Link to the Past
Demon's Souls - 3rd person action RPG, decent challenge but excellent gameplay, combat is lock-on style like Zelda Orcarina of time.
Heavenly Sword - God of War style gameplay
God of War 3
Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction and/or Crack in time - 3rd person platforming and gunplay
 
Valkyria Chronicles is a very unique game. Polished and lovingly created. There's a good challenge to the many varied levels and some great customization. Build your team, see how they play off each other.

Thanks for all of the recommendations.
A few of these I already had on my wishlist but and didn't know what order to prioritize them in. Some are definitely new to me.
It's helpful that the same ones keep popping up in comments, definitely speaks to their value.

I'll have to add a few of these to my wishlist.
