Is anyone else excited about this game? The whole game is based on Co-op, done by atlus, has a Demon's Souls type look to it, but according the the dev's is not that RPGish. They also say that while it is action based, it is much slower paced than GoW or Castlevania. And... they are going to launch it at $39.99.

For me the crappy part is that it launches at the same time as Dark Souls.

I have been watching this game somewhat because I like the time period and history. I cant beleive it will be very good though if they are putting it out for $40. I will probably pick it up when its on clearance down the road unless it gets horrid reviews or surprisingly good reviews.

I pre-ordered it when they announced it would be $40 at launch. It looks like a better version of The First Templar. I enjoyed The First Templar, despite its warts. I am hoping I will enjoy CC more.

From what I've read in reviews you can play this solo, but you'll either need a very competent AI or a friend playing along with you. So if the AI is setup well, then it will be a great game to go through. Of course it could be like Gears of War on insane mode and your guys are nothing more than 2 second diversions.

Not necessarily. Atlus released 3D Dot Game Heroes at $40 and it is freaking awesome

I liked the look of some the gameplay videos I saw on this. Definitely going to keep an eye on it.

yeah, but 3d was a different kind of game and they did the right thing by making it a "budget title" since it would have sold next to nothing for $60.

Looks pretty interesting. I can't believe it's coming out in just over a month, though - it's really flying under the radar. Too bad they couldn't get it out in July or Aug before all the Fall competition. I already feel bad for the devs.

Oh yes because we all know how awesome, amazing, and breath taking duke nukem forever, prison break, naughty bear and quantum theory were when they came out at 60 dollars. So your definitely right, games can only be good when your pay the maximum price for them.

Maybe we should make 120 dollars because they would be double the awesome!

Oh geez, yes, I think all those games are worth a full $60, in fact I would loved to have paid $120 for each!! How awesome would that have been? Give me a break.

Looks def interesting, but the fact that it's co-op centered kills it for me. Might get it if it ever clearences really cheap, but otherwise there's other games coming in November I want a heck of a lot more that are solo play centered (Skyrim).

This right here is exactly why there aren't more games launched at varying price points. Some people see a lower price tag and assume it's a reflection of the game's quality, regardless of how obviously irrational that is.

The next time anyone complains about how video games are too expensive, or how $60 is too much for some shorter games, please remember this.
