I've decided that since most of my DS collection just sits on my shelf, I might as well get rid of it for cash. I barely played any of the games but like a good CAG, I got most of them for a good price so I'm not committing financial suicide by selling them for pennies to the dollar. Most games that command a good price I'm selling standalone or trading in through Amazon (New Super Mario Bros, Mario Kart DS, Electroplankton) but it is the real crap that I'm not sure how to break up.
I don't mean crap as in Target clearance games, but games that were at one time good but barely command a buck when trading in (Brain Age, Star Fox Command, Meteos, Contact, Magical Starsign, and more). I was pretty shocked at some of the DS lots on eBay. A lot of 10 game lots (with real crap) sell for $50 which at $5 a game is a lot better than $1 per game if sold individually. I guess mom and pops just try to get one gigantic lot for their kids to make it easier on them.
After taking away the rare games, I have about 30 that can all go in one lot. Should I do a lot of 10, 15, or 30? I feel with logic, it makes sense to break them up in smaller bundles. But I feel like I can land that one mom or pop who sees a 30 game bundle with tons of Nintendo hits and think they can get their gift shopping done in one swoop.
