I'm running into this everywhere. Afro Samurai. That Final Fantasy XIII character with the bird in his afro. Keroro Gunso sporting the afro.

What is up with the Japanese obsession with Afros?

PS that guy in Killer 7 I'm sure there are more examples...

I think what you mean is "whats up with every non black person obsession with afros?"

Having a fro is super annoying as you have to deal with a shit ton of people asking to touch your air and claiming how awesome it is. Dont get me wrong my mine was a righteous gift from god himself but that doesnt mean when want a random white lady running her hands through it and asking to see my black power pick.
