Peace Walker on Vita

Mmm... The controls are near perfect now. I changed the controls the Action and mapped the D-Pad to the right analog stick. Now everything works as it should. Plus this sounds and looks beautiful.

I didn't mind the controls before, but now they're so much better. I finally going to dig into this like I should've a long time ago.

I thought that Peace Walker was coming to the Vita via the MGS collection, but it appears not to be. I just read about that the ther day and was a little bummed to read it. Now I don't really mind at all.

Only psp game I care about is Vice City Stories, they get that workin yet?

Was peace walker confirmed to not come with the MGS collection? I remember this tweeted screenshot from kojima


...but didn't hear confirmation that it's not going to be on there.

I have it through psn already and will just re-download, but that screenshot looks enticing.

Got a screenshot of peace walker on vita? Does it fill the screen? I'm wondering what the ratio looks like with psp titles.

It sucks there is little information about collection. I was hoping peace walker would be on there but I guess I'll just get it on my PS3. I haven't played portable ops would anyone recommend it. I think seen it for $10 and the bundle for $25

I didn't know you could map the controls for the PSP games. Or is it only for games that allow it? It sounds like certain PSP games could be great on the Vita though if the mapped controls work well. Like the GTA games or other shooters like SOCOM.

I believe you could map all compatible games just by long pressing on the screen.

It fills the screen 100%. No screenshot, but I'm pretty sure there are YouTube videos out there.

At this point I'm assuming Peace Walker isn't on the collection. I read that some people were saying Peace Walker wasn't released in Japan as part of the collection and since Hideo Kojima's screenshot is from the Japanese version that the Vita release in Japan won't have it, but the American release would. Then I read an IGN interview from E3 with Kojima where he said the Vita version won't have Peace Walker. He could've been referring to the Japanese release, but that wouldn't make sense at an American trade show.

If it ends up on there I'll be thrilled, but if it's not then I'll be just as happy.

Like a lot of other titles, it works without being on the official compability list. I just tested it to myself to verify.
