Well, make that 11 with this post. Or is it 12? 13? IDFK.

Anyone else ever feel like the only reason you ever come here is to lurk and check out the deals? LOL!

I just thought I'd share - I know I'm no one special among the 340,000 + members of the website, I just wanted to make a dramatic entrance into the forums.

Hi! I'm Brandon!

And it was henceforth known that Brandon, Lurker of Time, had stolen every single code ever dropped that went without so much as a "thank you."

I'll ask your mom how proud she is of you when I see her tonight. Mmm baby. ;)

Nah, I'm just here for the free stuff ;D Doesn't seem like the conversation is any good in this place :p

In all seriousness, a lurker I am no more. Thx for the warm welcome ;D

Oh you lurking has worked out well for all of us the past six years? I'm sure posting about it will continue that trend.

Nothing wrong with just browsing... the conversation has been 'meh' here over the years. I blame it on the efficiency nazis who have to consolidate every topic into a 500 page thread. Oh, there's a new K-Mart deal? Let's bury it in one giant thread instead of letting the post float to the top of the forum. #probablystartingariotwiththispost

and then the first 2 to 3 posts on a deal someone found will be "already posted" followed by an insult. Cheap asses are still asses.

There's always someone who thread bombs to be a non-conformist, but I love posting threads when I find out about something before other CAGs do. I enjoy the satisfaction of helping other consumers save money, as I'm sure a lot of us non-lurkers do. To me, people who don't say "thank you" (ie. the lurkers) are the bigger asses. If a stranger helps you out at the store, you don't selfishly take their advice and then ignore them.

Down with the individual deal threads. Give me giant mega threads(which allow for deals to get to 90% off before I buy them) or give me death!

As for the nazi label, that could fit many users on here. I can think of a few offhand just off the top of my head.:booty: But I digress as discretion is the better part of valor.:);)

I always try to post a thread when I find out about a deal, but usually only AFTER I grab said deal myself. I made the mistake of posting about a few really good deals BEFORE I grabbed a couple for myself and the shit got cleared out by lurkers in my area.

That should be CAG rule #2(grab dem shitz for yourself before posting a deal) after DON'T CALL being the first rule.
