I have a US MS points code, but a UK account! Help!

As mentioned, I have a 1600 ms points code (got fromthat junowallet thing), but I didn't realise that it wouldn't work with my account. So basically I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions of what to do?

Like, is there anyway into tricking it into thinking my account is american? Or if i was to make a new account(US one obviously), then redeem my code and download the content I want, could I use the content on my original (UK) account?

Any help would be much appreciated,

Content on the Xbox Live marketplace is tied to the Xbox live gamertag and the xbox its purchased/downloaded on. So you will be able to play the content on your UK gamertag as long as you use the same xbox that the US gamertag is on.
