Is it a deal to pre-order the Assassin's Creed III: Deluxe edition on Amazon and Best Buy for $64.99, since UbiShop UbiShop (and other retailers) is listing the same title for $79.99?
The Amazon and Best Buy listings do not mention the Season Pass and some of the other stuff like the music tracks and George Washington Notebook PDF.
However, I am inclined to believe (or really, really want to believe) that the Amazon and Best Buy versions is the same for a couple reasons:
1.) Initial press releases about the Deluxe Edition listed the price as $64.99: IGN Release
2.) See this conversation on GamersGate about the change from the $64.99 version to the $79.99 version. GG is giving existing pre-orders the Season Pass for no extra charge. That leads me to believe Best Buy and Amazon just haven't updated their listing, yet.
3.) Having two different "packages" with the same name is confusing, and, in my experience, Amazon sides with the customer when there is confusion like this that causes customers to lose out on anything.
Thoughts?
