You wont be able to play without gold. Thats why it says over a dozen times when filling out the form use the gamertag with an active gold account.

well i didn't plan on the monster hunter demo screwing me over on 48 hour trials at the time, and i sure as hell didn't think i was gonna get picked... but i just got a 1 month gold sub through a trade... but i'm wondering if i should redeem it now, or wait until they email me again... i wouldn't want my gold expiring during the beta

Wait until they email us again. We should be receiving a new itinerary for play times and what to test soon.
 
They sent out emails. They let you invite two friends to beta test it with you.

Got my two people.

I believe they can take legal actions. They got super strict on it and i wouldn't risk it. I have 2 myself but putting my neck out like that with people so loose lipped i cannot. :cry:
