12 month of Xbox Live Gold for $40 - free shipping - WALMART

Better off waiting for Bestbuy, I ordered this from Walmart a few days ago and they shipped it UPS Mail Innovations, might as well be Media Mail. If I order another from Bestbuy on Sunday and it ships Monday it would probably get here first.

Was gonna go ahead and get this since i get a walmart discount that brings it to 35 shipped.. but for some damn reason walmart cancels my order ten min later.. says that was an error processing the payment.. anyone else ever had this happen? i tried PayPal too..

and my cards have sufficient funds.. guess i can wait and try the BB offer on sunday.. but just wanted to go ahead and get this outta the way since ill be due for more XBL in march..

Prepare for YMMV disappointment. These Wal-Mart pukes cheated me on this last year. My order got cancelled and refunded because, according to them, the item was "damaged in transit". Yes, a card with a code printed on it somehow got damaged to the point of being unusable, and they did not have ANY to send as a replacement. Oh and the online price jacked up by $20 at the exact same time. Coinkydink? I no thinky-think.

Thus ended my shopping at Wal-Mart.

I posted this on the 19th over at the Subs & Points thread (if we ever elect to start that over, I'm def changing the name), but granted not everyone follows that so less exposure than posting individually and blahblahblah.

Feeeel freeee to subscribe though. It's basically just me (& Cornelius on occasion) doing the OP updates, but I try to check in on it at least daily to keep the OP current when deals get posted in the comments.
