360 Controller $24.99 w/ PC USB port @ Newegg

Saw this the other day - been using my PS3 with MotionJoy and it's been largely effective but I kinda miss having a proper 360 controller.  Thanks for the post.

Yes.

At first I thought this was the 360 controller with adapter. If it was, great deal. This is still good though. Thanks OP!
No probs! How much do the adapters run usually/do you have to use one on PC? This'll be the first time I'm going out of my PC game comfort zone and using something other than KB/M :p

This is a wired controller, right?  Been wanting to replace the wireless one I was using because of analog drift (really annoying when the games are sensitive to joystick movement), but setting up the analog stuff with the wireless adaptor is seriously a hassle

With a wired controller, you don't need an adapter. It should find the driver for you automatically. With an adapter, it should find it as well if it is an official one. If it is a chinese knockoff, 99% are, then you need to manually install it yourself.

Really, any USB Xbox 360 controller will work on the PC. I use an airflow controller I got for $15 on clearance and there were no setup issues at all.

UGH!

I just bought a wired 360 controller last month and haven't even opened it up yet haha

I am tempted to grab another but I feel like with the launch of the Xbox One we will start seeing a steady decline in most 360 accessories... someone talk me out of it!!

hmmmm. any ideas if this would work w/ a Mac?
It can, but I wouldn't go with it if you're not going to Boot Camp. The 360 controller driver is third party (not Apple or MS-made) and I could never get it to work. You're better off with one of those Logitech controllers that can switch between 360 mode and the old DirectInput mode that will detect the controller as a standard HID device.

Why do you think so? Motionjoy works fine for me, but I'm always open to "better". I only use it for Dark Souls on PC, though, so maybe I am just not using it enough to see it lacking.

OP, controller is OOS now :(. Thanks, though.
A lot of people (although not me personally) report BSOD with MotionJoy. Also, it has a clunky ad-filled crappy interface whereas the above link just "hacks" the drivers for the 360 controller.
