So doing the network statistics gives me these numbers:

Download: .57Mbps

Up: .40 Mbps

Packet loss: 0%

MTU 1480

Ping/Latency: 259ms

Wireless strength: 100%

Doing a speed test on my desktop, connected wirelessly to the same router, in the same room as the Xbone gets this: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3694512669'

Any ideas why my XBO could be getting such incredibly shitty speeds when my desktop is doing fine?

i'm guessing you're in the preview? It's a known bug...here's a fix I saw on the preview forums:

"Workaround was posted earlier for this.  Toggle the "allow play to streaming" after booting the console and your speeds will normalize.  Tested this multiple times.  Only need to do this each time you boot if you have your console set to energy saver,  instant on you should only have to do this once."

Yep, thanks. I even took it down stairs next to the router and it still got shitty speeds.

Plugging it directly into the router gives normal speeds, but that's not feasible as a solution
