Every year NOA has a "garage sale" around X-mas. They have all sorts of stuff (though imo the quality seems to be going down on what you can get) that you can snag that departments donate to the sale. All the proceeds go to a charity which is nice and no this isn't open to the public, sorry employees only!

So my fiance had me over at NOA for the second day and I snagged a few things, but the pictures below are from our overall haul.

Highlights:
Watermelon N64 (Fiance got this just so I could see what it looked like)
Sealed and Boxed Game Genie
Box o SNES games
GBA Display
2 Gameboy pockets (silver/black) for $0.50 each

Yes, there are about 15 copies of the Zelda Collector's Edition in the back there.

This is what I was proud of snagging while I was there -

I had to get this considering it was only $25! I'm such a sucker for crap.

Too much to list but eventually I suppose I'll catalog it.

All of this was less than $300. Sure it might not be the greatest haul, but it went for a great cause and now we have a collection of stuff.

*****EDIT*** Sorry but none of this is for sale!!! ***EDIT*****

I wish I could have went...

Great haul though, now you are going to have people asking for your Zelda collector's Editions.

I've been told numerous times to move to Seattle, but I've declined due to rain (not that the snow in Cleveland is any worse). Time to get a new job with my second favorite company ;)
And we'll turn them down since you can't make profit off of them ;)

We'll probably give them out to our friends.
Giving one to me wouldn't be turning a profit for you...

We're not sending any out to any of you guys. :p Sorry to be a scrooge but we've got friends who'll be getting these as stocking stuffers. :p

Haha, that will be nice. All I'm getting is batteries and some shiny new quarters for laundry :p

Nice grab on the Game Genie, though. Amazing that they still have stuff like that lying around. I don't think I have the box for my NES one anymore... I think I stuffed that one in the same box as the SNES GG.

Good goddamn christ. Congrats Miss Q.

Oh, and I count 13 copies. YOU ARE LYING TO US.

Yes, I speak out of jealousy. :(

i just threw up in my mouth a little..that is one fine haul! Let us know what snes games you got!
I found it ironic that they had a game genie. They hated the thing and tried for years to get it off the market with lawsuits.
I found that ironic too

thats cool to do, just hope that cat didnt mark his territory on the gba kiosk
But why are there xbox games and dvds?
this doesn't make any sense.... he has a game genie by galoob, and xbox games....

i am not the only one who doesn't understand then....

I'm a she... >.>

It's whatever departments donate as I've said earlier, people just happen to have X-Box/PS2/DVDs to donate to the sale. :p

It must be cool to have a fiance working at NOA... I'd kill to have gone to this "garage sale." Nice haul man, certainly worthy of the bragging rights. I wonder how many Zelda Collector's Editions are just lying around at NOA

They had many many many many boxes last year. They didn't have as many this year.

The kicker to those... those were free. :) Each person got 4 copies per trip.

Each zelda collectors addition is worht 30-40 bucks. i sold mine for around 45 on ebay. Sell thsoe and you get your money back and then some.

Can't. Nintendo employees are not allowed to sell their stuff. They can get shit-canned for it. ;)

Thus why none of this is for sale. :)

*EDIT* Stuff = Things they buy from Nintendo, whether it be from this sale or Fun & Games.

I wonder what department donated Bug! for the Saturn :D
Obviously the commie-pinko traitor department. I hear they sacrifice cats too.
