Could anyone who's completed The Junkyard (stage 5) tell me if it's possible to save the two ports in flames at the beginning? I can't seem to get a maintenance bay up fast enough to save both.

Loving this game, by the way.

Did you try out the demo before buying by any chance? I was wondering how much more diverse the full game was or if what the demo has to offer is very much indicative of the retail version. That said, I have yet to download the demo to try it myself, but I find myself really wanting this game.

Its not worth saving them. Its better to just cash out on the extremely damaged ports at the beginning. Any money is better than no money. If its medium damaged you can save that one in time when you build a repair garage.

FYI to people that own this game:

Do you remember that Xbox Live Arcade game Outpost Kaloki X? It was one of the XBLA launch titles last December with the rather annoying problem that two of the achievements were unachievable. Now Outpost Kaloki X’s developers Ninja Bee have come to the rescue.

After more then 10 months of waiting, Ninja Bee, the guys who are also responsible for the very entertaining XBLA title Cloning Clyde, have finally released a patch (see bottom of that page) for Outpost Kaloki X. Before this, there was a glitch that prevented the achievements “Eight-Port Master” and “Adventure Story Gold” from being possible to be achieved.
So, next time you play Outpost Kaloki X, you’ll be prompted to download an update which will finally let you finish the achievements in this game. I personally think this game is good fun and worth the 800MP. Let us know about your experiences with this game in the comments section below.

I just decided to bite on this game, but I can't help but notice that there is very little explaining what all the icons and such mean. I'm I missing something?

I don't have this game but I am good friends with the lead designer and I sent him your question.

He said the icons that pop up about what what people want correspond to items in the build menus. That's about all you need to know.

Hope that somehow helps, if not, give me a more specific question to ask him.
