Battlefield 2 price drop?

Has anyone heard any rumblings about a price drop for Battlefield 2? I mean they're coming out with the 2nd expansion pack soon and the game is still retailing for $50?!? Doesn't make much sense to me. The only place that isn't full price is eBay and we all know how reliable that place is .

In my experience, usually when a game's 1st expansion pack comes out, the price will drop. I've been waiting for BF2 to drop so I can get in on the goodness. So, anyone heard anything? Rumors? Speculation? Good "your mom" jokes? Seriously though, anyone know of a coming price drop for BF2? Maybe a combined BF2/BF2:SF package?

Makes perfect sense to me. Why drop the price if there is still heavy demand for the game?

Knowing EA, they like to do all their price drops in batches. So when you start to hear announcements of other EA games dropping, there's a good chance Battlefield will be one of them.
