looks great, I have been watching this one for awhile. It has been one of the least talked about titles for the month of march

I see they still haven't figured out how to use more than a few different shades of a couple of colors. That is a shame, I would much rather see what this would look like without the 'stylized' look.

Up to 20 players online, not bad. I heard bad things about this title a while ago and ignored it, but now its definitely something I'd look into, depending on the reviews.

These screens are actually pretty old.

Edit: I'm talking about the screens in the OP. The rest of them could be new for all I know.

I hope it plays better than Heroes of the Pacific. The fighter planes controlled and felt much like paper airplanes.

Any reviews out for this? I'm ready to use some of my store credit on a few other things and I need to know now whether this'll be worth it or not.

As of now there is one, from games(TM) whatever that is and it got a 60% which sucks because I was looking foward to this but my wallet could use a break. Anyways if you click the link you can see the score, but there is no article to go with it so take this with a grain of salt.

I heard there are no scoreboards for online play which is a bummer, thats what I liked about Crimson Skies. Trying to get a Star rating and keeping that rating

I'm sure it's not a case of 'figuring it out' I think they wanted to go with this look.

This is the reason I held off on GRAW and Oblivion.

Of course, if this sucks then I'll pick up one of the two. But if this turns out decent, I'd enjoy this a lot more than either of those two games. Comes out on my birthday...with my luck it'll be crap.

the videos/screens have me interested, but I'll wait until there are more reviews for this game.

a part of me hopes it's as fun as Crimson Skies

I stopped by Circuit City today and they had a sign stating that due to problems with distributor the game will not be out till 3/27. Not sure if its just CC or everywhere.
Too many :360: games coming out now!
Don't worry, once we're a couple weeks into April, we'll hear relentless complaining about the fact that zero noteworthy games are coming out until Gears of War in July.

...that is, if Gears of War isn't delayed. Anyone want to get a pool going? I'd guess September.

MS reports that there will be 80 by June.

No idea what/where they are coming from. There's about 20 of them by the end of this month right?

That would really surprise me if they didn't have online scoring.. especially from an Ubisoft game.

As for this games(tm) place from Gamerankings, who the hell are they? That's the first review that I've ever seen posted by them. I'm kind of stoked about the game personally, as I worked anybody on Crimson Skies on Live back in the day. It's kind of sad that the flight sim genre is about dead on the PC other than a few mediocre titles here and there. I have a hulking $100 Thrustmaster HOTAS flight control system with throttle.. too bad I can't plug it into the 360. I miss the days of Jane's/EA flight sims.

I'm a little disappointed though that the game has been gold for about a week, and a single review other than this games(tm) thing hasn't been posted.

I believe that's 80 including Live Arcade games.

I was hoping the game wouldnt be so good. Damn it too many good games not enough time.
Same here!!

Hm. The few reviews up so far look "very good, but not must have" to me. I do want this game, but unless it's above and far beyond Crimson Skies (which I already have), there's no reason to pick it up with all this other stuff coming out lately.

Waiting for Gamespot and 1up scores.

I really want to get this game, but I know GRAW and Oblivian are going to take up so much time. I really don't understand why Ubi Soft didn't just push this back a month or so. Why they would want to put out a game two weeks after everyone just bought GRAW just doesn't seem to make sense to me.

I like Crimson Skies, but the historical factor for me is the killer. What's not great about being able to fly a B-17 in multiplayer, and be escorted by three buddies on Xbox live in P-51 Mustangs? If only they had B-29's... I would definitely have to take some vacation days from work.

I'm kinda of glad Ubisoft is showing so much support for the 360. Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell are in development, GRAW, Blazing Angels, Farcry.. They're going to make a killing with this stuff, which will allow them to take more risks with games like Beyond Good and Evil. Plus, it means a steady stream of games on a new system. Anybody else remember the great PS2 post launch drought?

very true, but the ps2 isn't the only system to have a post launch drought...

Agreed.. actually... I think the 360 is the exception to the norm. I can't think of any other systems that had this many good games in such a short period of time. Whereas I suppose most have one killer app and a bunch of shitty games, the 360 seemingly has a bunch of good games and no killer app.

It looks like my preorder luck has turned out well (unlike half the games I preordered for xbox)

First, FN3, Burnout:Revenge and GRAW
now Oblivian and Blazing Angels

I don't disagree at all...I'm just not willing to drop (at normal retail price anyway) 240 bucks for the 4 outstanding games this month (Burnout, GRAW, Oblivion, and now this maybe - we'll see when the demo is finished downloading). I'll pick one or two and be happy until a price drop shows up.

Hopefully they will continue to...I have a feeling they will since GRAW sold like crazy. However, after the first week or two of April things do start to thin out, but I'm guessing the games that are coming out now will hold us over until Gears of War (supposedly) comes out in July.
