I guess this would fit under "Shopping Discussions" but mods move if necessary.
My question is: Have you spent MORE on Video Gaming since coming to CAG?
Lasy year I spent maybe $50 on games. I found CAG in January and 3 months into this year I've already spent $200 x_X This site and its many good deals making me buy games, I mean how can you pass up $3-$5 games or game that are 50% off? So has CAG effected your purchasing habits in any ways?
Have you:

There was video gaming before CAG? :bs:

Most people will answer "God yes". It's a tough comparison for me though, considering I just got back into console gaming/found CAG when I got a full-time job. Meaning I had infinite times the amount of cash than I used to when I'd buy a PC game once every few months. So I spend a couple hundred bucks a month on games (am attempting to slow that down now, my spending tab saddens me) but it's no big deal.

at first, yes. nowadays I spend less, since I buy/trade for quality games that I know I'll play and am consciously keeping my backlog to less than 10 games.

You should have made this a Poll question, but you will learn in time:) To answer your question I have spent more, but it is a good thing. If I spent the money I spend now 2 years ago I might have only got 1/4 of the games I have now. CAG provides a way to get way more for the buck. This site is awesome, I always use to look from the "outside" at people who posted/visited forums & blogs and wondered what is the big deal. I understand now that I've been a member for almost a year and a half, as well I can honestly say this site is very addictive. In the past 6-8 months I've lost so much sleep roaming the site reading, posting, and trying to be one of the first to hear or post about a great deal. Thanks Cheapy and continue the great job.

Spent the same amount with alot more games. Alot of the clearance games ($5 CC games, $10 TRU games) were games I was planning to buy anyway. I do own alot of sealed games.

I spend about the same as I used to, since I was always shopping for deals in my area anyway. CAG has saved me a bit on gas though. Now I can see the deals ahead of time; don't have to drive all over town searching. ;)

I used to spend more, because I bought every clearance game that would drop if I was slightly interested in it, but I learned a $5 piece of shit is still a piece of shit, and I could have put that $5 towards a good game.

I only buy games that I know I'll enjoy and will be excellent, but I still get them at rock solid prices thanks to CAG.

I've spend tons more. I bought over 50 games last year and probably only finished 10 of them. My backlog is so high, its crazy. I'm trying to cut back and start playing some of the games on the shelf.

oh yea..............lots more.
as others have said i used to buy things because of the price but now i buy games i actually want not solely because theyre cheap.

one thing i realized though is that with the amount of great games i have, and the sparse amount of time to play them i cant see myself spending the time to play through everything as i have superior options in my collection.

i started sorting through them and will be getting of a portion of them.

i do love this site though.

I went from spending around $200 per year to spending around $400 per month (painful on an EB Games employee's salary who has to also pay for college). I've been trying to cut back but the damage has been done...

I've spent about the same, but have gotten a lot more bang for my buck!
CAG has given me more games I've wanted faster and cheaper.
CAG is a GOOD thing.

I've spent a bit more on games, but I've gotten more and higher-quality games as well thanks to the information on CAG.

I've shared the love with a few friends and relatives as to how great a site this is for game and DVD deals.

Thanks much to Cheapy for this shining star in the black hole that is the internet.
Yeah, I was trying to make this a poll but I've never made one on here before and when I tried it, it didn't work. Anyone wanna PM me teaching me how? ;x
Well that was rude of me to not inform you:) It is very easy, when starting a new topic scroll down and check the box under "Post a Poll". Here is what you should see:

Post a Poll

[Empty Box] Yes, post a poll with this thread
Number of poll options: [Empty Box] (Maximum: 10)

It is self explanitory. The first empty box you will click to add a poll and the second empty box you would add a value in respects to choices you want the members to choose from. In your case it would have been 4 and you would have entered in your selections:

Have you:

I'm starting to spend just a bit more but my purchases are based on games that I really want at great prices.
