Went to BB a while ago and picked up

Saiyuki Double Barrel Collection Vol 1 - $10
Sakura Diary Collection 1- $10
PeaceMaker V5: The Spider's Web - $10
PeaceMaker v6: Prelude to Battle - $10
Cromartie High School V4 - $10

Thought it was a pretty good deal if ya think about it. Doesn't anybody else know where to pick up cheap anime dvd?

Is that Sakura DIaries VOLUME 1 or the entire collection. The volumes (which I own) have a DUB but are the actual TV airings from Japan so they are edited.

If you want the unedited get the collection which is SUB only.

They released new, unedited collections with dubs in two volumes last year. I assume that's what he's talking about.
 
none of the BB's around me have any of the Saiyuki Double Barrels left, its all just the Reload series

Its a pretty good deal but mostly in line with traditional best buy discounting, as suggested retail is only 29.99. My best buy still has the individual volumes and is selling them for 19.99. They are sitting next to the complete collection on the shelf.

That is the chronicles of the heroic knight, lodoss tv show then? That would be a deal I would jump on, but I don't think my best buys have any copies.

WOW. Congrats! I'm getting really sick of mine not really having any worthwhile stock outside of particular anime movies. It's getting really annoying trying to pick up any series there since they drop boxsets in a week and they stop carrying most series as soon as three volumes in. Grrr.

I saw it sitting there and went to price it and the girl said 16.99, I about ^&*% myself, I asked her to confirm and said "You said 16.99, as in 1-6-9-9" and she laughed and said "yeah is that good?" and before I knew it come guy behind me with some anime ran back to grab the other one they had. My only experience with Lodoss was the Crystiana movies from ADV, so I am glad I got this at a great price and others also. Also we need to kick up the old clearance forum again since more titles are dropping again and older clearance titles are now popping up again. I saw Giant Robo-Ginrei special for 6.99 again, they had 12 of em sitting there. I grabbed it and it was funny as hell.

It's probably that cheap since I've heard it's not selling well and they're only gonig with the uncut now since no one is buying it. The only real cheap stuff I saw at Best Buy were two different volumes of .hack for like $9.99 I think.

Yeah the best buy clearance threads always end up dying because they do clearance in waves and by the time the next clearance wave comes the old one has been fallow for too long. I know that over the past year I have personally started several of these best buy big clearance list threads. Its really been a consistant enough regular process that maybe it should get a sticky thread.....

I picked up the Lodoss Tv too. but you can find it online for $24.

Might get Utena.

Where? Are you sure you don't mean the original Record of Lodoss Wars OAV series?
 
Okay I am bringing this thread back from the dead as we have NEW clearance anime DVDs at Besy Buy I found the following in Miami-Dade County, Fl, so anyone else who has seen clearance anime DVDs post em here, as it seems it's that time for BB once again.



Burst Angel :Volumes 3, 4 : 11.99 each

Hare+Guu Volume 1 Box Set (with the chest afro baby!) : 15.99

Hare+Guu Volume 1 disc only: 11.99

Case Closed! 1 (Jimmy Kudo),2(deadly Illusions) ,3,4 : 7.99 each (the last two I will go back and check which season they are from and will edit again.)

IGPX Uncut Volume 1 : 11.99



Note: Record of the Lodoss War : Chronicles of the Heroic Knight had a price tag of 49.99, but it still scanned 16.99 and they had plenty for anyone who missed out the first time around.

These were both available at this price during the DDD sale last week. I picked up both.

Are you talking about Case Closed? What are volumes 1, 2, 3, and 4? I've only seen CC with 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc. as their volume markings for each season and volume. I think seasons 1, 4, and 5 are the only ones out.

That's it! Case Closed. Man thanx i was referring to the old name. I am headed back tommorow and will get a better look at the actually volume headings, and write em down.

Is this the new re-release of the series that is being clearance again? Anyone have a pic by any chance?
 
Damn, i want that Hare Guu box. Its still $26.99 online, but hopefully it'll be clearanced B&M. Looks like ill be headed to Best Bbuy this morning, ill post if i find anything else.

If they don't have it B&M you can order it using their internal internet ordering system. The prices are often differn't on there. The Excel Saga Imperfect Collection still shows up as 37 something while the site we have access to shows it as 67.99.
 
Just got back from Best Buy, luckily they had one in stock for $15.99. I looked at all the other titles, but the only "new" yellow stickers i noticed other than what was mentioned above were some yu-gi-oh titles (whoopie).

I noticed they had the new FMA in early, but unfortunately, no limited ed. tins. I'll have to try the other Best Buy by me, they have a much better Anime selection.
 
While technically not a clearance item, I saw a DVD 2-pack of Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence/Millenium Actress for $19.99, which I promptly picked up. I also saw A Tree Of Palme for $9.99.
