Logitech Harmony 676 79.99 shipped

Good deal, especially with free shipping.
I've got the 676, and it rocks.
It seems to use batteries pretty quickly, they last about 3-4 months per change, so a set of rechargeables would be a wise investment.
But ultimately, I love this thing. Obviously you'll benefit more if you have more stuff to run it on, but it's well worth it in that case.
It takes a little while to setup, but once you get an account on the website, and tell it your devices, future changes are quick. And it's a hell of a lot easier than screwing with typing in those numerical codes.
I've got mine working my HDTV, HT receiver, DVD player, PS2, HDDVR cable box, and XM2Go radio.

All Harmonies provide the same basic functionality. You can just spend more for better button layout, better lcd, docking station, rf capability, switchable faceplates, etc.

My 659 runs my HDTV, OTA box, HDDVR, Xbox, Home Theatre, & DVD player. You can pretty much customize it anyway you want and it will work with any type/brand component.

Rechargeable batteries are a smart idea for the non-dockers. I have these and they're great.

Yeah, I saw on the Amazon site that a certain percentage of people who looked at the 676, bought the 880 instead. I think that has the docking station/built in rechargeable battery, and motion-activated power-on, the color LCD screen, and two more 'soft' buttons, and a different button layout. I like the layout of the 676, and those other features weren't worth 100+ to me, but I'm sure they are to someone.
My 676 came with switchable faceplates packed-in, even though the listing didn't say anything about it, so those might come with this 676. I've never used them though.

And these are 'midgrade.' Some of the Prontos or other kinds run 200-500$.
One opinion on these higherpriced remotes was: You buy a tv, then you look at the screen. You buy a dvd player, you don't really look at it. you just put disks in. But your remote, you might click on hundreds of times a day, and will be in active use the most--you might as well get a good one.
