I know a store where they have a mint complete copy of marvel vs. capcom 2 for the dreamcast. I was a big fan of the game in the arcade, heck it is the only game I have ever participate in a tournment for. Anyways, the store gives the same amount trade in value for gradius collection as it would take to purchase mvc2. I was wondering if it was a good deal or not.

to make clear, I would be getting the copy of mvc2 to play, not to turn around and flip.

If you want Marvel vs Capcom 2, I'd say go for it, since another copy of Gradius Collection should be fairly easy to obtain

YES! ZForce is exactly right about Gradius Collection being the easier game to pick up. You can buy a brand new sealed copy of Gradius for less than Marvel vs Capcom 2 will cost you on Ebay. You said the game was mint? You can't pass that up. That's the best version of a game that most likely won't get a reprint.

Yes. The DC version is the best version of the game, it's worth more than Gradius collection, and you can grab a new copy of Gradius Collection any time.

Turns the complete copy they had they sold yesterday. but they did have a disc only copy foolish I bought that. I get home and it doesn't work. Oh well, I guess I'll return it tomorrow.

Damn, that's too bad. Fantastic game.

Piracy on consoles still making money is not good, but I truly don't feel too bad about it with the Dreamcast since Sega sees nothing and resellers are the only ones getting anything out of it. And das all I'ma sayin'.

On that note, I do enjoy MvC 2 on the DC, but I wouldn't trade a current gen Gradius game for it.
