Looking for Cheap MGS1(PS)

I'd suggest checking out your local GameStop, if possible. I don't know about other locations, but the one near me is still clearancing PSone titles at $1.99 for most to get rid of them. I was looking for MGS: VR Missions and saw probably 9 copies of MGS. (I got the last copy of VR Missions too :D)
