Xbox360 or Wii?????

Ok I have built up enough credit to get a Xbox360 or Wii. I would have had more credit, but I stopped trading in yesterday, thinking the deal would continue. I know for sure I do not want a PS3, until the price drops. There are a few games out for the 360 and in the future that I like. But, I have a feeling the Wii is going to be a hit and its cheaper. I really enjoy the DS, even though I didn't think much of it when it launched. I hope the Wii is just as fun. The 360 is proven and the Wii is not, what to do what to do. And I can't afford them both at this time.

Depends on how much $ you have. For the price of just the Xbox360, you'll be able to get a Wii, plus games. Have you looked at the games for each yet?

Get both. I've got a 360 (can you say Oblivion?) and I'll get a Wii. No PS3 for me, though.

There are more games at this point for the 360 I want. But of course there is not a big list of games coming out for the Wii at this point. The more 3rd parties that develop for Wii the more comfortable I'd feel. The big ones I want are Metriod 3, Zelda, Wii Sports and Madden 07 for Wii. I wish we could get details on price and dates for the Wii. September, is suppose to be the month. True happiness is buying all the consoles.

That's pretty much my next-gen set up until the PS3 hits ~$300-$400

Exactly. There's pretty much no games I want for X360 right now, until Halo 3 and the new GTA come out. I'm gonna want Metriod 3, Zelda, Wii Sports, and Mario as soon as they come out.

Yeah, a Wii/360 combo seems like a good choice. I could catch up on my PS2 and DS games until the Wii comes out. Right now if the Wii launches at $250, I will get 2 games and a extra controller. I got a deposit on Call of Duty 3 and Madden 07, might add Zelda to the mix. I wouldn't be surprised if they launch at $199.99. Then I could wait until the 360 drops (holiday 07?) or save up the money.
