norton internet security 2007

CAGiversary!
My subscription for norton internet security is about to run out. I know i could just reinstall but i like to keep the newest version of norton on my machines. The oem seems to go for about $30 on ebay/newegg. Is there a better deal out there or is this a good price?

The NIS 2007 comes with a $20 rebate on the package and sometimes you can get a better rebate if you are a previous edition owner. New for this year NIS lets you install on up to 3 computers.

yeah i remember sending old discs back for that rebate in the past. still wondering if i can get it cheaper though. ;)

I use Macfee, mainly because it's free with Comcast. Otherwise I probably wouldn't use any, or maybe that AVG one. I haven't got a virus in years, and I only got them before only because I was a idiot and downloaded anything and everything and didn't really know much about how the internet was.

Even if you do not have constant scanning on, it's recommended to have A/V ap on your computer just as a precaution. It's better to have a contigency plan and be prepared than to have a virus and not have anything at all. personally I would use Nod32 or Kaspersky with F-secure coming in third.

uhh the free ones might be alright but id rather go with somthing i pay for so i have someone to yell at if/when shit goes wrong. Also the firewall is much more customizable compared to sp2's firewall.
