Gamestop.com Day After Thanksgiving Sale Now Live

WOW! Buy a $600 gift card instead of a PS3 ... that sounds like a great idea to me.

I checked it out - doesn't look like many good deals to me ... any recommendations anybody?

I might pick up Fire Emblem for $15, even though that's the MSRP. It's still a good deal. $15 for Metroid Prime Hunters ain't bad, either. Nope, not bad at all.

And man, if Shaolin Monks was the Xbox version, I'd be shatting myself.

I'll likely be trading in my original Xbox towards the 360 CoD2/1 Year replacement bundle. $320 isn't exactly horrible... though state + city tax adds up to roughly 10% which makes most B&M deals around here mute.

Is the b2g1 on all games or just shitty ones?

Damn that sale sucks. The only things that interest me are MK Shaolin Monks at 9.99 and Fire Emblem/Geist at 14.99.

Just read the GS ad from the paper...said you get $80 towards a 360 when you trade in XBOX 1...

Does anyone know the standard trade-in-value? Ad also says that you get an additional 10% with three games, but I have no idea what the 10% is applied to...

help?
 
This is dumb it says buy 2 used games get one free on all used games, but in the small print online it says 19.99 or less. That sounds like false advertisment to me. I wonder if in store you can get any used games for that deal.

The code doesn't work yet, it says the start date is in the future. Should start working at midnight, I think they're still in EST.

Gotta love Gamestop marketing, especially since that still doesn't buy you a ps3. If someone gets a $600 gift card, they're still gonna have to plunk down about $50 more in taxes.

But I guess GS has such a low # of deals they can aford to put photos of geek stereotypes in their ads instead of sales.
 
So, the 360 premium with COD2 and the extended warranty is valid until 12/03, not just Black Friday morning? The first page isn't very specific.
 
Ultimate Alliance (PS2) for $19.99. Is thi s version any good or should I spend more for a next gen version of the game? If not, I'm just gonna pass now and pick it up next year when it goes GH...

The graphics are very watered down, but other then that it place just as good as the others.
 
I've heard many people comment on problems with music and framerate on ps2 over the 360 and PC version. Its been labeled the worst of the bunch.
 
If you trade 5 or more games your supposed to get 30% extra. Are we allowed to use our EB edge cards for an extra 10%?
