Anyone download the new Oblivion content (Knights of the 9)? Impressions?

Haven't played the new pack yet but if you just got the game yesterday I wouldn't worry too much about it. There is so much to do on the disk it should be awhile before you're ready for new quests.
Wasn't that supposed to be exclusive to the PS3 version?
so was assassin's creed... but we all know how that turned out :D

I'm certainly not complaining--the less incentive for me to get a PS3 at this point, the better.

I would purchase it if I just started (Dont know how they initiate you into all the dlc, like quests, equipment, ect, im guessing you just run into it in normal gameplay) so it would probably be better to get now.
Im waiting for the 360 dvd version, have no idea when thats coming, but, if its like the h2 map pack, should be worth it.

honestly, i dont see a 360 dvd version coming.

but yeah, the game autolevels with you, so it wouldn't make much difference to buy it now or later.

and i assume when you buy it, a little notification would pop up about the new quest. that's how it was with the pirates cove or whatever add-on.

Yeah, I got some of them already. You get a little notification about a new quest.
what does auto level with you mean? Its just random stuff as you progress?
The enemies levels stay around yours. Therefore you can never get in over your head, and at the same time it's never too easy.

so is this just 1 new quest or a few? I heard it adds a few hours of gameplay supposedly. One of the biggest annoyances in Oblivion though is how repetitive the dungeon/caves/ruins get. Sure there are a buttload, but eventually they all look the same. So i'm not sure how much better this expansion can make it.

Ditto, I got the game in JUNE and I'm not even half way through the main quest yet. Granted I stopped playing in late august, but still . . .
I do have to give props to ms and bethesda on this one for making it cheaper than the PC version PC version MSRP in store is $20.
I believe that the retail PC version includes all the downloadable content. So for another $10, you're also getting the rest of the quests and the horse armor.

I've been waiting to hear something about it before I pay $10 for it. I've only beaten the fighter's guild and dark brotherhood, though, so I probally won't be getting this unless they drop the price to $5 a couple months from now. If Wombat gives it a glowing review in the next CagCast, I might get it now.

Right... so if you just bought the game, you may want it. I finished the PC version (prior to this expansion) and loved the Dark Brotherhood quest (best in the game, I thought). But that was definitely for evil / evilish characters. Knights of the Nine is the opposite. So it depends on how much role-playing you are doing.

I have it and am in the middle of it. Dunno if it's worth it yet, but hey, it'll make people hate my character a little less. Being leader of the Dark Brotherhood and the theives guild makes pretty much everyone want you dead.
