Gamestops $.99 - $4.99 xbox 360 games Updated 7-6 Games added! Mass Effect 2 $7.99

I was going to stop by gamestop and check out if they have any of these games. Anyone want to give some feedback on which games to buy/avoid? Thanks.
I missed out on alot of the early titles.
This list just kinda came about...I was going to GS and wanted to look for some cheapies . I had some games bookmarked and when I went to check them the price dropped. It happened a few times so I decided to search the GS website by " lowest first" .Thought this list would be useful to others. I will try to update it .

Not soon after I made the list GS lowered a ton of games! I made a new list. Half these games I never heard of.  Everyone should feel free to use this thread to help them find some deals and chime in and comment if any of these are hidden jems.

I really enjoyed the Condemned series. They could be a nice option.

I would definitely pick up Lost Planet. I blind bought it for $35 a while ago and enjoyed it. $3 is chump change for a few enjoyable hours of gaming. Another real fun game for $3 is Crackdown. My friends and I bought it for the Halo 3 Multiplayer beta and stayed for the surprisingly fun gameplay.

Avoid Fable III unless you're invested in the series. It's thoroughly mediocre, but still not a terrible buy at $7. The only other game I really know about is Mercenaries 2. My friend adores the game, but at a T rating, it just looks like a tamer version of Just Cause 2, which is absolute gold.

I hope you enjoy my advice. Good luck finding those games. I just might rebuy Lost Planet, at that price. Thanks for the heads up!

Crackdown is fun
Condemned 1 & 2 are good and scary (well half of Condemned 2 is scary)
Fear 2 is decent
X-Men Origins: Wolverine Uncaged Edition - if you like wolverine then yea its fun and way better then the movie its based off of
Dante's Inferno i enjoyed but it can get very repetitive
The Saboteur i thought this game was really good, its basically like assassins creed in paris with guns and nazis

Condemned 1 and 2 are both very good. X-Men Origins: Wolverine Uncaged Edition is action-packed fun. Fable 3 isn't amazing but it's worth a playthrough if you like the series.

The original Lost Planet is decent enough (though I never felt compelled enough to finish it). Lost Planet 2 has horrible design and is a big downgrade from the first. And lastly, Dante's Inferno can be played through in a weekend and is fun enough to recommend.

I had great times playing Crackdown co-op back in the day. If you've never played it or the second, it's definitely worth a try. If you've never played a game from the Fable series, then I also recommend that.

the saboteur is a fantastic under rated game. never had a bad though while playing it, well worth the price of admission.

wolverine and dantes inferno are both alright, DI gets kind of annoying in spots. Wolverine is on the better end of comic movie tie in games, just not as good as captain america.

most of the 2.99 games are worth it just cause they are so damn cheap. If I would have known The Club was that cheap, I would have stopped by and picked it up while I was out today.

Crackdown is a game I continue to visit to this day. There have been quite a few great new IPs this generation, but one that sticks out so well to me is Crackdown. They butchered just about everything with the sequel, and I would advise anybody to stay away from that, but for $3, Crackdown is probably the best way you could spend that money.

I found Alpha Protocol to be a poor man's Mass Effect.. it just wasn't there for me.

the dragon age games are about the only ones really worth the time to play.

I did like wolverine and bulletstorm as well not bad for those prices. If you have nothing eles to play then any game is good but if your like most cag you will have a huge backlog and probably wont play these anyways

Mindjack is also $4.99. Might see if I can find Rock of the Dead, just to see how bad it is.

In addition to the games others have already mentioned, I really enjoyed both Dark Sector and Fracture around the time they came out. No idea how well they've aged, but for $3/each I'd say definitely worth trying them out.

I recommend Crackdown and Bulletstorm. They were both fun $20 games. Getting them for less than $20, makes them great games.

I'm thinking about Fable 3 at less than $10. Figure I can't go wrong.

I was hoping that an "all DLC on disc version" would have been released by now.

I hope this list helps people who are also looking for games on the cheap. Im sure I will pick up most of the 2.99 games. There is a few more games that are cheap but I didnt add them because I have/played them before. Call of Juarez BiB comes to mind, game is under $8 buck and is good.

I wanted to go this weekend but plans fell through. When I go Ill let ya know what I pick up.

Im still interested to hear any comments about the games. Especially FEAR files , Blood bowl, Ninja Gaiden II, and DMC4

Ninja Gaiden is amazing, I thoroughly love that title. There is one level boss (3rd or 4th I think) that is super hard. If you can beat him you will have no issues with the rest of the game

Blood Bowl's rules are based on a card game... like the 3rd version of the card game's rules. It isn't worth the time to figure out the rules for the price. (I haven't known anyone who has liked that game that has played it).

DMC4 has had decent reviews from people I know. FEAR Files is a good one if you like the FEAR games.

Crackdown is a must at that price. Heck, buy two and give it to someone to play it co-op with.

I think Brutal Legend is worth the 5 bucks. The gameplay is so-so, but the story, characters, and atmosphere really carry it, especially if you have any fondness for metal.

I hope that helps you out a bit. I finally had time to look at your whole list and give some advice.

I would avoid Dark Sector. The novelty of that game wears off very quickly. Fracture, on the other hand, is really underrated. Same goes for Mindjack. TimeShift is so-so. It's not nearly as fun as it should be, but I thought it was worth playing. Brutal Legend is surprisingly fun, but I don't know about paying $5 for a used copy; that's how much it was new for a long time.

I can understand that sentiment to an extent, but I found combat to be just as interesting and the stealth was a nice touch. Your choices also seem to have a much bigger effect than Mass Effect.

GS added many games so bump.

I did make a trip to my local GS. I picked up Fracture for 2.99 and Ninja Gaiden 2. Haven't touched fracture yet but started NG 2. Its pretty challenging game. If you can put up with the bad camera its got some cool weapons and the fighting is fun. Gonna go look for Turok and conan next time...

Since MS gave Fable 3 for free I went and got Fable 2 for $2.99 since I never finished it when it first came out. Also got a copy of Too Human for $2.99 just to have it.

Really want Dragon Age 2 but at $10 it's killing me to spend that when it got so many really bad reports from fans. Hoping it'll hit $7.99 or less soon.

More price drops. Updated the list. Picked up Conan for less then 2.99 ( minus pro rewards) and Turok for - 4.99 . It was slim pickins for everything else I was looking for.

Sega Superstars Tennis at .99 is a steal but at 2.99 with the Xbox Live Arcade Compilation it's an even better deal just for Pac-Man Champioship Edition...For 2.99 Conan is decent. I agree, Conan is a pretty good game for that price. a few frustrating parts, but still fun.

IMO Shadowrun for $2.99 is a steal. People still play it online still and it offers quite a bit of challenge. I bought it back in 2007 for $40 near its release and I was extremely happy with my purchase. (I've had to log near 200+ hours into this game)

crackdown 1 is much better than crackdown imho. excellent game for the price. might get too human for the cheap. DA2 is mostly a no-buy because they literally reuse the dungeons over and over, becomes very repetitive. If you REALLY ( and i cant stress that enough) want to buy da2, then wait till $5 or less. 

Saw Mindjack for 360 at $4.99 the other day.  Heard it wasn't good but am tempted to get it just to have another cover shooter.

I thought Mindjack was rather fun, but the multiplayer is probably dead at this point and it's one of the few games that I think actually benefits from online multiplayer.

My GS stores about an hour away were running a promo $20 for all games between $5 and $10. Ended up with Mass Effect 2, Call of Duty 4, Bulletstorm, Blue Dragon, Banjo Kazooie, Guitar Hero 2 / Aerosmith Dual Pack, Rage, and Halo 3 ODST for $5 each.

Definitely YMMV, but worth calling around if you're interested. My local stores 15 minutes away weren't running the promo but the other stores in the bigger cities were.

"I would avoid Dark Sector" - I would disagree, I enjoyed the play through and I finished it as well.  I found it to be fun and for $3, what else can you expect?  Like others shadowrun would be on the list.  In comparison I would not buy/play Conan (I played 3/4 of the game was ehh about it) but I would play Dark Sector again.
