Musramasa Rebirth - $19.99 at Amazon; Limited Edition $29.99

AWESOME, thank you! One of the three Vita games I was looking for this weekend for my new Vita from Radio Shack. :)

I seem to recall Muramasa being a $10 Wii game. Is this version worth double?
I thought the backgrounds looked amazing. Particularly the night sky with all the shining stars on the Vita's OLED, but probably not if you already played the Wii game otherwise yes I'd say it was worth playing for $20. Although you could also get full AAA console games for $10-15 right now so it depends on the person.

It is a tough platinum trophy since you'll have to collect all the swords in one run, do a speed run in another run and do a final run on the insane difficulty. It was fun to mix/match and play around with all the swords. The game was pretty much about exploiting and cycling between the swords overpowered special attacks. The cyclone type blades are the best for conserving your special meter to build up more meter on the other 2 of your weapons you swap between but certain blades all have their uses against different bosses. Overall theres like over 100 blades to collect, but some of them are more powerful versions of previous ones.

Uggghhhhhh.....first it was living on PB&J for a week, now this.  Well I guess I don't have to be buried when I die, cremation is cheaper I hear.

Anyone know how the pouch on the LE is?

Really wanted the game, and needed a case for my new Vita, so I got the LE. Thank you for the heads-up!

Edit - nevermind, for some reason the Amazon listing didn't show up first as they are out of stock.

Regular version back to "usual" price but LE still discounted...still on the fence!

It let me put an order in for 19.99 from amazon. When you go to the page it shows a 3rd party seller. For amazon it's showing temp out of stock, order now and we'll let you know when it's available. So I put a backorder in for it. Hopefully it takes a week or 2. Spent too much last few days

I reallllllly want this LE but I can't see spending even $30 on this since I own the wii version. Hopefully it drops further.

It's a fantastic game, though if you don't care about DLC, trophies and graphics, then it's not worth it.

Actually, you have to do at least 4 runs to platinum Muramasa and it's harder than you make it out to be. Not only do you have to beat it on Fury (1 hit deaths), you have to beat it as both characters and unlock all three endings. At first this sounds easy to do, but you get 1 ending for beating the game normally, ending 2 for beating the game with the swords you get from ending 1 (if I recall things correctly. Either or, you can't get ending 2 without both ending 1's) and then you need the Oboro Muramasa for the final ending. Easy right? The Muramasa is the 108th (I think thats the number) and the absolute final blade, which means you have to get all the swords on fury mode. It also means you need to level both characters to 94+, since they will be too weak to equip the Muramasa.

However, this mode isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things.

Great game, and the LE comes with a custom Hori Face Cover, which is a really nice "case" for the Vita.  I use the Face Covers combined with Sony Travel Pouches for my two Vitas, and really like them.  BTW the regular (black) Hori Face Cover is getting hard to find for some strange reason, I ordered one recently from Walmart for 11.xx, but Walmart is now out of stock, and Amazon doesn't sell them directly anymore either.

I have this LE, the pouch is ok, never really used it, it's a velvet pouch w. the logo printed on white ink on top. The lifo is not like the pic, but better.

The skin also covers the screen so no need for an extra screen protector

the nori hard case is very nice, I like this the most out of the LE.

The game is good, looks way bette than on the Wii, translations have been fixed and you don't have to backtrack as much, but you still do a goo bunch.

is the LE worth it?

thinking of getting it just for the goodies but ultimately going digital for play
If you want a Hori Vita case, then I'd say get it. My LE came in today and it's pretty nice. Along with the screen protector/decal that comes with it, my brand new Vita is pretty much fully protected.

The game itself is of course excellent, but the included Face Cover makes this more than worth it, IMO. And the box art looks nice too. Trying to resist this even though I already have the regular edition game.

I heard a lot of good about tearaway. I've always loved little big planet, so I'll def be picking tearaway up to, just not yet. A lot of video game stuff has happened in November, too much at once, so I gotta focus on the stuff I actually have first!

The game is also extremely short, so you might as well wait for a price drop.

the thing is I'm going solely digital for my Vita. so most of the CE/LE I buy are purely for the physical goodies... I'll have to find a way to trade or sell away the physical game

This game wasn't even on my radar but looks good and the limited edition's case is great since I've been looking for a case for my vita and the face cover might be nice protection too.  Thanks OP!

Thanks OP! Been interested in this version for some time now, and I could uae a Vita case, so no brainer at this price.
