Sony Gold Wireless Stereo Headset $79.99 @ Ebay/Amazon/Groupon/Buy.com

Damn I think I may have to sell the Pulse stereo headset I just bought from Sears for $29.99 because this will work on my Xbox One.

Got 5 with about 15 left. Came to $160. Employee looked so surprised that someone was buying it much less so many. Great deal and my housemates will love this. We've been needing new headsets for our stream and this is perfect.

They didn't have the pink 3DS there though. Halo 4, Mario Kart DS and New Super Mario Bros were in sale for $10. Those headphones where there for 97 cents too.

wrong thread lol I think you looking for this one http://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/331776-ymmv-sony-wireless-stereo-headset-2999-at-sears/#entry11822442

I upgraded these from the original WSH. I much prefer the newer model:

No more creaking with any minuscule head movement

Slightly heavier, which feels better in terms of build quality of the original without feeling heavier on your head, top foam also feels of better quality

Multiple profiles

Able to use via 3.5mm cable to use on portable devices and anything else with that jack.

Sound quality is better

Smaller USB Dongle

Though I will say, those with ginormous heads like mine, the originals fit better. These still fit and are fine, but barely. The original still had room to spare in adjustments, while this I have to adjust all the way to fit. Though I'm in the small minority with my large head.

thanks for the heads up on the Groupon price OP
I had some credit available to use toward this

I've never had the need for gaming cans before but have recently been playing Watch Dogs and have had to alter my play when my 9 year old has entered the room

Believe it's like $72.XX on Amazon.

On the fence with these. I have two different generations of Turtle Beach headsets and I was never able to get rid of that barely noticeable humming when there's no audio, and it drives me freaking nuts. Then again, they use digital RF, so I'm sure that contributes to the problem.

Is there any sound interference with these? Maybe the Bluetooth connection allows for clearer audio.

Price matched at my local Best Buy and used $30 in certificates. So like $54 after taxes which was pretty good.

Tried them with Pixel Junk Shooter Ultimate and they sounded good and were comfortable. I'll break them in with Wolfenstein tomorrow.

If anyone is interested in this, PM @ Target and use the 10% off Cartwheel to even get it even lower. Cartwheel coupon expires 6/14/14.

Edite: I forgot to add that if you have the Target Redcard that's another 5% off.

My turtle beach PX4's completely stopped working a few months after i bought them. How's the sound quality and mic quality on these?
Sorry can't provide you feedback on that one. I'm not planning to get mine until tomorrow. I just wanted to bump the thread just in case anyone is looking for a headset.

The question is do I trade in a bunch of games to get these at BB?  Bad news is it takes away from my trade line that I use to get other games...  But I really need some headphones anyway, let alone it would be great for gaming.... decisions!!!
