Sony has no plans to launch more DLC for PS4 role-playing game Bloodborne after the release of The Old Hunters in November. Sony Japan producer Masaaki Yamagiwa says in a new interview that Sony actually originally planned two DLC expansions for Bloodborne. But it was later decided to wrap them into one

"It was decided that with one set, we'd be able to do more with it, and have more volume for players to play with," Yamagiwa told Eurogamer. "As of right now, we have no plans for any more DLC."

The Old Hunters, like the game itself, will be challenging. It is said to offer about the same level of difficulty as the second half of Bloodborne's main campaign. The expansion will be playable "at some point in the first half of the game" after you meet some unmanned conditions, according to the report.

In addition, The Old Hunters packs in three new areas, 10 new weapons (watch the video above to see some of them in action), and some new NPCs that can be summoned.

The Old Hunters was announced this week at the Tokyo Game Show, during which Sony's Shuhei Yoshida described the DLC as a "full-scale download." It launches on November 24 and costs $19.99 / €14.99 / £11.99. An Old Hunters Edition featuring the original game and the new expansion will also be released on December 5.
