$149 Xbox coming soon?

According to a recent report in the The Wall Street Journal, Microsoft is preparing to cut the price of its Xbox console from $179 to $149. The new pricing, which it's believed will take effect by early April, would initially be promoted through a campaign at Wal-Mart Stores and then at other major retailers. Microsoft has not commented on the reports at the time of writing, but we'll bring you more information as soon as it becomes available.
