What???

And I was hopeful to see Guilty Gear X here ...

:\
According to Shoryuken GG X2 Reload will be released on steam in September. Are there any news on a re-release on gog?

Please excuse me in advance if I'm asking again something that was answered before, but I'm very short on time and can't really go back and read all the thread.

With the removal of the two Guilty Gear games from GOG's catalog, do the games stay in my collection indefinitely or am I screwed if I have a bad hard drive crash and need to reinstall everything?
So far they're here, I just redownloaded both games.

Jotamide: I just found out about this today, this is extremely shitty. I imagine Kiss Ltd (the new holders of the rights) might put this out on Steam for $10 just like Isuka and appear to everyone else like the amazing publisher who brought them Guilty Gear games there, while us the DRM-free fans get shafted. Not fucking cool.
To an extent, I agree with you on this. Even GamersGate is advertising a re-release of GGX2 Reload for $10...as a Steam key. It'll be available tomorrow (09-05-2014). http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-GGX2R/guilty-gear-x2-reload?aff=ggnews

Ironically, GG Isuka is on GamersGate DRM-free + Steam key for only $5. That's how I'd gotten the Steam version of GGI (which I also have on GOG, as well as GGX2R from GOG).

I still have GGX2R on my GOG account as well. If you purchased GGX2R from GOG before Zoo Publishing yanked it, it'll still be in your GOG account. Of course, being DRM-free, you can always just make a back up copy on your external hdd -which is what I'd done back in 2011.

I 'trust' they won't get removed from people's accounts, but I like to back up every game I have for safety's sake.
