How a Collectors Edition should be
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The box was a little dented but everything inside was mint. Collectors editions like this need to happen more often. Only thing that could of made this better was a real working NES game.

Perfect for any FE fans collection
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I saw this was being released I knew I had to buy it. It was hard to find at first but after multiple drops I was able to buy one from BB. It’s a perfect collectors item for any FE even though it doesn’t have a physical cartridge. Delivery was quick and product came excellent condition.

Really Beautiful Collector's Edition
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the most gorgeous collector's edition that Nintendo has yet released for a Fire Emblem game, and that's really saying something. The price does seem a bit high for a set that includes a download code for a $5 Famicom game (which is being localized here for North America for the first time in its history), but the collectibles you get are fantastic. The glass NES cartridge is just beautiful, and comes sheathed in an old-school NES cartridge sleeve, which in turn comes packaged in an awesome replica NES box complete with screenshots and game descriptions like the old days, which I loved. The art book is also a real thing of beauty, and probably the nicest one I've seen in a Fire Emblem Collector's Edition to date. It's a highly limited set, so your chance to own it is probably already long gone as I write this, but it's absolutely worth picking up if you have the chance and are a fan of Fire Emblem and Nintendo's collector's editions!

Great collector's item for a Fire Emblem fan
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As someone who grew up with the NES and has since become a Fire Emblem fan, I absolutely LOVED this set. The art book is nice, and the Nintendo Power replica poster is a neat snapshot in time, but the star of the show is the NES cart. No, it is not a functional cart, but as far as replicas go it is a really neat display piece. It even comes in a box that looks like could've been on the shelf in the 80's or 90's and the cartridge has a plastic sleeve that goes around it. Not to mention the manual, map, etc. My only criticism is that *you do not get a physical Switch cart for the game*. This is a huge bummer when you consider that you're paying $50 for a $6 digital game. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

This Edition is legit!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is legit! They could’ve charged $100 for this thing. Everything is quality. Art book has a lot of art. The NES box is nostalgic complete with map, manual, and poster. And the beautiful clear NES replica cart is hefty. Ignore that 2 star review saying the items were cheap, because they are not. Everything in this collection is quality. The only complaint is that there’s no physical game, but they told us this from the start so yeah.

Don't listen to the hate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't understand why other reviewers are hating on this. I have a large amount of collectors editions and this one is seriously cool! It feels much better quality than most collectors edidtions. The outer box is gorgeous looking and feels great: nice matte texture with embossed fire emblem text. The cartridge box is awesome looking, and continues that great texture. The glass cartridge is really heavy, and super transparent. Really nice and tops off with a great quality NES sleeve. The art book is a hard cover, way better quality than most art books these days. I do wish it included a hard copy of the actual switch game, but at the price point, and for the quality I am not at all surprised it is a download. This would probably cost %140 if it included the game. Don't sleep in this collectors edition, it is really cool.

Fun game, great packaging
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The one major drawback of this package is that this doesn't come with a physical version of the game. WHY NINTENDO!! The game itself is a little dated, but a load of fun. But with how small the file size is, I feel like they could have easily put this on a cartridge. The extras are a 11/10 though.

Great game and package
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The extras from the Anniversary Edition are fantastic. I have the NES cartridge displayed on a shelf and the NES boxart displayed in my home office. The art book is over 200 pages long and includes descriptions about Fire Emblem characters from the entire history of the games. I thought the game itself would be lame since it's a 1990 turn-based RPG but I've had a lot of fun with it. Played through twice.

Q: QuestionWow. Sold out in 1:45 seconds. I had it in my cart & was setting up payment when the system took it out of my cart & said no longer available. Can you get more for us to order please?
Asked by LordZarl.
- A:Answer Same thing happened to me. Love how it doesn’t secure it item for at least 5 mins to let the check out process have a chance to finish. Shady business.

Q: QuestionHas preoders gone live yet? Did I miss it?
Asked by Shopper.
- A:Answer Yeah. They sold out in minutes sadly. Hoping they actually restock and get a decent supply of this.

Q: QuestionWhen will the Fire emblem 30th edition be available for purchase.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer It went live shortly after you asked this question & sold out almost right away.

Q: QuestionWill this be available to purchase at the store the day it releases, or was the pre-order stock the entire stock?
Asked by Joe.
- A:Answer I talked with customer service today and they don’t know if there will be in person stock yet. My assumption is that they don’t know if nintendo can or will send/produce more units. I gotta say it was so depressing going to eBay after missing the sell out by minutes and seeing so many new listings by scalpers for maddeningly high prices.

Q: QuestionWhen will this be available for pre-order, or when will this be back in stock for ordering?
Asked by Phoenix12.
- A:Answer Their is a fair chance that it won't be restocked it went live and sold it in a few minutes at most.

Q: QuestionWhy does a preorder not allow me to order for shipping? It won't be available in a store within a 250 mile radius. Why?
Asked by Mccloud122.
- A:Answer Mainly due to the product being sold out within minutes due to scalpers/bots. I had two copies in kart one for me and a friend. Then I couldn't push the order threw because they sold out.
Answered by AlexanderK
Q: QuestionSo I was wondering if the NES cartridge is just cosmetic or if you can play it on the NES. Can you play it on the original Nintendo?
Asked by Danny.
- A:Answer It's purely cosmetic. It's pretty apparent bass off the fact it's completely transparent and has nothing on the inside. Although it would be rad if it actually worked

Q: Questionwill this be restocked?
Asked by theoldbucwild.
- A:Answer It might be it might not we really don't know but if we go by what happened with Gamestop it probably won't be restocked.
