Assembly

I love this game. My family has been playing for the last year and still enjoying it.

I own 6 Arcade1up units and they have really improved the screen contrast, and joystick quality. The control protector is included to preserve the artwork around joysticks and buttons. Ok game lineup is awesome with co-op two play games and it's just fun to play. I have been having a lot of fun with this model

I bought mortal kombat 1up for my home and was so impressed by it I had to get this one and I am not disappointed. the controls are spot on the sound is not nearly as loud as mk and believe me that's not a bad thing, they need real volume control on the machine's, that is my only complaint. worth every penny.

2nd 1up arcade machine

A top notch product.  Very easy to assemble, not too heavy, and full of the games that I loved back in the day.  I would have made this a six star review, but Ghosts and Goblins is on there, and 30 years after the first time I ever played this game and I'm STILL unable to beat it.  At least now I don't have to throw money away to get killed by 8 bit ghouls now, yeah?

The star of the show is definitely Final Fight, it's just like I remember, only on the Super Nintendo it was a 1 player game and only 3 enemies could be on screen at once.  In its true Arcade Form here, I can get wailed on by six guys, and then have a second player join in to save my sorry backside.  Also, Guy's in this version!  He was cut from the SNES version, so I never got to be him before!  Still not as good as star characer Mayor Mike Haggar, but better than that pretty boy Cody.

I'd never played the original arcade Strider, only the NES version, and the metroidvania version released on Steam a few years back, but this version is great too.  In a crazy future, a cyber-ninja called a Strider, named Hiryu, goes to some almost-Russian country in the continent of "Eurasia," to slice up thousands of pretty much every kind of robot or cyborg or whatever that tries to kill him, presumably to defeat the guy in the opening cutscene that looks like some sort of Dictator?  Freedom!  I'm on board!  If you've ever wanted to play a game where you sword fight a giant robot gorilla and then jump up and cling to the ceiling as its robot skull spreads fire on the floor, this is the game for you.

The fourth game is 1944, one of those classic "you're the plane at the bottom of the screen, the enemies are toward the top of the screen, shoot 'em down and don't get shot" games, but this is WAY more intense than your ol' space invaders or Galaga.  I'd played 1943 back as a kid, and this one takes it even farther.  Huge, screen filling boss planes, tanks, and ships are a ton of fun to fight, especially since taking too long lets them escape.  You still go to the next stage, but now you feel like a loser as your "Mission Failed" screen fills with black and white photos of the guy who got away, instead of full color pics of the target exploding or sinking or whatever.

Seriously, a great purchase, can't wait to get some of their other machines.

Great Arcade System

Good bang for your buck with all 4 titles!!! This "2nd gen" arcade1up cabinet already includes the acrylic protector since their 1st gen had issues with graphics wiping off during game play. The joysticks still suck, but it's an easy $5 swap out from Amazon. The game play is great with all 4 titles just like the good ol' days!

I was nervous to get this machine at first but after putting it together I couldnt be happier.  The quality of the unit is excellent, and the directions make assembly very easy.  This unit also hqs four excellent games.  A total steal at 300 or any price less.

Great Arcade Cabinet.

I bought this 5 months ago and the screen no longer turns on: it is black.  The company said it's probably the PCBA board and it only comes with a 90 day warranty, so I have to purchase the part myself.  But the part is completely OUT OF STOCK.  So apparently I am not the only one with this same issue.

Poor quality and warranty.
