So far everything is working properly, we chose to have this delivered to the store so we could inspect the package THERE before bringing home, since some people had issues with damage to their cabinets, etc.. 
We purchased this Arcade1 for Christmas for our 15 yr old special needs granddaughter, she has a lot of limitations with using her left hand, but seems to be motivated

Great For Special Needs/Disabilities

Great arcade cabinet. Pretty easy to put together. Took us less than an hour and that included the riser. It is small but we purchased the riser and are glad we did. My husband and son love this. Pretty good picture quality. Sound is a little muffled but nothing terrible. My only complaint (which isn't terrible) is it has two volumes: off or on. I wish there was a range, but other than that nothing really to complain about. Make sure you read the directions and take your time. So far no issues.

Great arcade machine

While I had seen these online and such I was surprised to see 8 of these in person at the store. I couldn't resist getting one since I had the option to put it right in my cart that day. I got the rampage one. It was really easy to put together, just don't rush and overtighten the screws. Also take your time and don't use power tools. I didn't have any missing pieces or anything damaged. There was some factory issues with the main upper “rampage” board on the machine. It wasn't cut perfect with some debris off the bottom of it and in the corner it was peeled ( slight damage ). I also got the riser and that was easy to put together. Overall it's very cool to have and it works perfect.

Really neat to have!

This machine is awesome! I was a bit hesitant to purchase because of some of the bad reviews, but Iâm glad i bought it. It took me about 45 minutes to put it together by myself. The only thing cosmetically wrong with mine was a scratch down one of the sides of the machine. Itâs not that bad and nothing a furniture marker wonât clean up. As far as the gameplay, itâs great. The screen is good size and the controls all function properly. You can play 3 players on rampage easily at the same time, and 2 players on gauntlet and joust. You can only play 1 player on defender at a time and itâs kind of hard to play because it uses buttons from all three player locations. Itâs difficult to use the joystick on the left side of the machine and the buttons on the far right side. There are three volume settings on the machine, one is mute, and two other volume levels. I usually have it on the middle setting because the volume on high is pretty loud. The machine is quite short. Iâm 5â9 and the control pad is probably 2 inches higher than my knees. I have a 4 year old and 6 year old and it is the perfect height for them. We all play rampage and i play on my knees. I purchased a riser but have not yet assembled it because my kids love playing it. They can turn it on and play by themselves, even the 4 year old so it is not complex. We really love the machine and Iâm glad I purchased it.

Excellent machine

Just purchased this at a local Walmart.  It was a debate between this and the Street Fighter 2 version, but this has a 3 player game (Rampage) vs SF2.  Based on all the negative reviews, I was basically expecting the worst.  But after putting it together and letting the kids play with it all afternoon, I feel like a lot of those negative reviews are either based on an old version or they are misleading.  I had no issues with the quality anywhere, and in fact, all the pieces were packed securely and well.  There were no scratches on the screen or the control deck, all the pieces fit together fine, and the machine started right up.  The games played fine.  Keep in mind that these are 30+ year old games.   The only reason I am knocking a star off is because Gauntlet, a 4 player game in the arcade, can only be played with 2 players, despite having 3 joysticks, which is very odd.  Also, the control scheme on Defender is bizarre, but I got used to it.

Surprised by the quality

Worth the purchase? Yes if Defender is low on the list for the purchase. All the games play great except for 2 exceptions. 1- Gauntlet is only 2 player, dont know why when its setup for 3 players...2- Defender is completely unplayable, do to how they have the controls setup for it. Rampage does work for 3 players and is very cool..

Great Machine..

First off when you write a review know what you are talking about. The description of the control layout for Defender told me that you either never played Defender in an arcade or your memory is worse than mine. Luckily I own about 25 real full size machines so I know what I'm doing. I agree the buttons and joysticks would be broke in a few hours in a real Arcade. I knew right off that I was going to replace them with Happ controls. But the layout for Defender is pretty close to the way it was. I attached a picture to show you the way it was. The joystick never went left and right only up and down. You hit a button to change direction another to fire and another for smart bomb. I always stunk at Defender because you had to use your left hand for up and down. I never got use to that. For the price they are okay and a lot closer to the real thing then a PS4 or Xbox one. But no it's not a real Arcade but it's also cheaper and easier to get and a lot smaller. The originals are better for sure, but every time I go to turn one of my machines on I pray that it will come up and work because the originals were not made to last like other items from the past. Vendors would swap them in and out for the next game that made money.

Too thegeekhunter complaining about Defender.

What is up with all the fake reviews on this site before the item was even released? These have not been available until October 16th, 2018.

The Rampage Cabinet had impact damage to the top left corner. The controller board has pitting and scratches on the graphics. The game defender is NOT PLAYABLE! Defender is played by the left control stick. ONLY up and down. Left red button is thrust. Left white button is changed directions. Why was directional change not in the control stick? The middle red button is super bomb. The FAR-right red button is shoots? You must use your left had to go up and down, and right hand to thrust, change directions, while clearing two other control sticks up in the way to shoot and super weapon? It is not possible to play this game like this and last very long. Joust works great. Gauntlet the original arcade cabinet was four players. This unit has three control sticks, but you can only play two players and not three? Why only two players? Rampage works good for three players. Still blows my mind this is the only three player game and Gauntlet is only two on a cabinet designed for three players.

Pitting, Cabinet Damage, Defender NOT Playable

Quality control at their factory must not exist, or they just didn't expect the demand and can't scale production. Quality of parts is not good. Dents, peeling, holes not lining up, controls that are not responsive, instructions that tell you to use three screws when there are only 2 and to put them holes that aren't there are only  few issues. But the screen is bleeding and the plexiglass cover has ink/paint on it. See the photos. Emailed support and will hopefully get it resolved by them.
Maybe that's why it was delayed so many times?
Would never pay $400 for this, and not too happy I paid $300.

Good idea, poor execution and quality of parts

I was so excited to get this machine. Let me start by saying the cabinet is beautiful. This looks like it came right out of an 80s arcade.  My only complaint about the design of the cabinet is that there are 3 joysticks which seems great for playing Rampage. But considering the size of the machine you would need 3 tiny people to be able to all at once. 

Rampage, Joust played just like I remembered. Amazing. 

Gauntlet is a 2 player version of the game. Strange considering there are 3 joysticks. But still awesome. Until you reach level 31, there is a software bug that makes the game unplayable. 

Defender on the other hand looked and sounded perfect. Unfortunately with the way that the control panel is laid out it was virtually impossible to play. You have to use the other 2 joysticks buttons it is a very poor design. It should have been left off entirely and replaced by anything else.

Now to get to the bad. The machine I bought had a broken 3rd joystick. It did not move the character left or up. Had it been the middle joystick it wouldn't have been that big of a deal. The third controller is the 2nd player joystick for every game except Rampage. I ended up returning the game the next day.
