been hearing all sorts of good things about Beyond Good & Evil, is this HD version a good copy to get for someone who's never played it? at $2.50, I'd love to give it a shot but don't know if this is a good place to start.

I thought it looked pretty good from the little bit I played of it. I'm sure it's a good place to start if you don't like inverting the Y axis on your camera control.

You can see the PS4's PS Store in action in the video above. It's great that they're letting you stream your previous purchases since the video store only allowed one download of TV shows or movies that you purchased, so if you had it deleted for whatever reason, you were SOL.

Ooook, so apparently review copies of COD: Ghosts were running at 720p on all consoles? LOL> There's a day one patch for the ps4 version that ups the output to 1080p. Does this mean...that Polygon was right? That the only difference was indeed PS4's dropped framerates (for which they docked it .5)?  :rofl:

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this. This would mean that all the reviews claiming there was a discernible difference between the PS4 & XBX1...were full of shit. Was Polygon truly one of the few voices of reason here?

to make it even more bizarre, apparently *only* the single player was 720p, the MP was running at 1080p. the whole thing is asinine. I'm going back to playing germinator now.

I just finished getting 100% in Germinator. Take that!

This may sound like the insane ramblings of a man who has nothing left, but the puzzle rounds were actually kind of clever.

Does anyone know if I buy street fighter x tekken for vita, will it come with the character dlc for ps3?

Sigh...been trying for hours to get the Always on Top trophy for Hotline Miami to pop. I guess I'll just give up on it. Still have 3 A+s to go anyways.

I don't play much online either, but you can feel free to add me. it's the same as my userid. I accept any friend request I get, mostly cause I assume people send friend requests cause of the Toro Network thing.

I hear ya, but as the season draws to a close, Bears fans will be too busy, waxing nostalgic, looking back at their team's one real accomplishment... taking out the league's best quarterback... only to see him return and dash any delusion they had of a wild card spot.

It's supposed to have all the character DLC, like how Mortal Kombat for the Vita did.

I'm on the fence on SFvsT myself. It didn't get very good reviews, but I'm not really looking for highly competitive play. I just want something to fart around with for a bit while at work.

I know the vita version has all the characters, but does it also come with the character dlc for the PS3 version?

I'm glad the Bears won, but I don't look at injuring Rodgers as an accomplishment. The Bears biggest accomplishment this year might be having a decent offensive line for the first time in about 5 years. The thing that irritated me most about the game is how the announcers were going on and on about how the Packers were ravaged with injuries, like the Bears were perfectly healthy.

The Bears biggest accomplishment this year might be having a decent offensive line for the first time in about 5 years. I would say the Packers had/have more stars injured, which is probably what the announcers were getting at. If you have a list of all the Packer injuries and a list of all the Bear injuries, Average Joe Fan on the Street would recognize more of the names on the Packers list.

It 100% definitely does unlock the dlc characters for the PS3 version when you buy the vita version physically. I can't be as sure with the PSN version since I had it physically first. Don't know why it wouldn't though.

Seriously though, Monday Night Football's Jon Gruden (and Child's Play face model) is terrible and I couldn't agree more about the announcing in that game. MNF has been garbage since ESPN took it over.

I don't mind the announcers, but MNF just doesn't have the same luster and prestige it once had. Most weeks I completely forget about the Monday night game. Sunday night is where it's at now.

Haha. I'm in the same boat. I have no desire to be friends with idiots who tea bag corpses in multi, and all my real life friends have 360's. My only PSN friend is my CoD addict brother in law.
 
Yup, SNF is like the spiritual successor to the old MNF format. And Al Michaels is the best play by play announcer in professional sports IMO. Chris Collinsworth is more tolerable than the vast majority of color commentators out there. SNF is the best because they keep it simple and they stay focused on the game.

All this damn football talk makes me wanna play Madden. Getting it Tuesday for my birthday. Hopefully my entire team won't turn into a MASH unit like in real life.

I'll wrap up my football rant with this... When a game changing quarterback like Rodgers goes down the impact of all those injuries to the team become magnified because great quarterbacks provide cover for weaknesses in their roster. The Bears seem to have the opposite problem though... Cutler is actually better for his team when he is not on the field.
