I never got around to the co-op in UC3 either. Whoops. I have the disc version though (got it in a PS3 bundle last summer) so maybe I'll put it on the list after I blast through UC2.

No, I know that, it's when I'm trying to kill shopkeepers and my guy decides to grab the ledge and drop the shotgun, leaving me wide open. I know it's my fault for button mashing square but still.
 
I think I'm going to sell my Nintendo 64, accessories and games to help speed up this PS4 savings plan. It's too f'ing slow! Plus while I like the N64, the fact is that it's been sitting on a shelf for a long time now. Nowhere to put it!

 
I've hard Uncharted 3 on my shelf untouched for over a year now. 

I'm a little leery to play it.

I enjoyed Uncharted 2 so much, and I don't want to sully it's reputation.

How much does an N64 go for nowadays? Last time I checked they were only worth a paltry $20.

The N64 itself isn't what I'll make some decent money on. It's the games and everything added together. Going to sell the higher value games first, then probably sell the N64, controllers and lesser games as a bundle.

Yeah, actual retro consoles aren't worth shit. I still have my NES, SNES, and N64 even though I have very few games for each of them because a lot of the good games retained value and I sold them. The consoles aren't worth selling, might as well hold on to them in case I ever go through a retro phase.

 
All this Uncharted talk makes me want fire it up even though I just started God of War 3 last week because of all the GoW talk and even though I'm still in the middle of my first playthrough on inFamous 2.

Ps. You guys suck.

I might end up keeping the console I suppose, but right now it's just taking up space. I'd rather have the retro games on the Wii U VC, I think. No physical space required, AND the Wii U is hooked up, unlike the N64 sitting on a shelf….

I want to sell mine as well, but don't know if it's worth the hassle. I can't find the av cable. What really ticks me off though is I have the manual and box to my copy of Conker's, but can't find the actual cartridge. :wall:

I've been waiting on this Retron 5 since they announced that last year to replace my broken SNES so I can play/capture those games.

 
Actual retro games look up for the most part.  Compared to what I sold them for in 2010, there's a lot of value increasers.  

I sold Super Smash Bros N64 for $18, cheapest one on Amazon now is $43.  Sold Majora's Mask for $22 now it's $40.  Mega Man X for $10 and now it's $28.

Then again I sold Ico for $40 and now it's $9.  Banjo Tooie for $22 and now it's $15.  Oracle of Seasons for $23 and now it's $15.  

Hard market to figure out.  SNES and N64 games definitely look like the ones that have shot up the most.  Which I really don't get because most the best ones are available on Wii and WiiU VC.

EDIT: Sold the complete set of 3rd Rock from the Sun DVDs for $135.  Damn that was a good move!  Reviewing my Amazon history is surprisingly fun.

Yeah you are. Keep working on GoW 3, then finish infamous 2. Then move on to Uncharted. Simple really.

I started playing GoW Ascension because of the GoW talk, but I finished Ass Creed first. "You gotta be strong"

Solid state saves so I don't ever have to worry about dead batteries in carts and the ability to save at any point so you don't have to replay frustrating parts of a level over and over (I'm looking at you Battletoads turbo tunnel) and the ability to properly scale output over HDMI was enough to sell me on the RetroN 5 as long as the hardware quality doesn't end up being shitty.

So apparently The Walking Dead Season 2 is cross-buy? I bought the season pass for Vita and it's showing me available for the PS3 as well. It doesn't mention it in the description. I'm playing it on the Vita anyway but I'm wondering if there is a glitch or something going on. I couldn't find any info online about it being cross-buy or not. Unless I'm just missing something entirely.

Did anyone grab the Sly Trials just in case?

EDIT: Found in the comments on this PS Blog post that it isn't cross buy as it was written in error?

It's a great book. The movie was okay - it suffered greatly from being a movie, because the plot works better as a book for spoilery reasons*.

It's still a fun movie, I thought, just not a classic like the book is (if you read it at the right age).

And OSC is an ass. Still wrote a couple of solid books though.

*Huge spoiler as to why:

When watching the film, you see all the 'game' sequences looking as real as everything else. This makes it far easier to 'guess' the ending, whereas when everything is in you imagination you aren't given the huge visual clues.

One thing I greatly prefer about selling on eBay is you can easily see exactly how much something has been selling for by checking completed listings. I wish I could see a history of sale prices like that on amazon.

Also if you buy Mario Kart 8 you get Pikmin 3 free (or some other choices). Plus GCU discount and $10 free gas cash at Best Buy for preordering. Banana!
 
Mario Kart does look amazing. My kid is always watching the IGN channel on the roku. If they drop it to 199.99 and bundle mario kart I will re buy it.As long as MS is abandoning kinect maybe N will abandon the ridiculous gamepad.

Oh, I read the book 20+ years ago. I read some of his other stuff, too...Treason was interesting. The follow-ups to EG were absolute crap, though Ender's Shadow was decent enough (just the first book.) His Homecoming stuff was terrible, as was the Alvin Maker series.

I wouldn't mind if Sony had a Gamepad equivalent for the PS3 that was optional and allowed you to play in another room. I mean I guess that's the same thing as remote play for PS4 and the Vita, but still. Something like this would help me knock out my PS3 backlog.
